As for Char, having the Thunder Night Dragon as his mainstay was enough to ensure his safety.

The Floral Blue Leopard and the Frost Crystal White Deer were simply too large to follow him around.

The "Castle" as it was, still seemed a little too small to accommodate all of his Magic Pets.

Auson and the Lotus Leaf Frog were creatures that preferred quiet to activity, so they didn’t come along either.

Melodious singing voices came from outside, sometimes near and sometimes distant. Before long, a turquoise figure flew in through the window: it was the Rain Sound Kingfisher.

After being fed for a while, the Rain Sound Kingfisher’s feathers had become fully plush, shedding its fledgling appearance to enter a subadult state, its Challenge Level successfully reaching Level 1.

Of course, a Demon Beast with a Challenge Level of 1 was nothing for Char now. Such combat power was barely better than none, so he simply kept the Rain Sound Kingfisher as a pet, essentially finding Betty a playmate and a personal guard.

Soon after, the carriage arrived at its destination.

Looking at the familiar rock nestled among the bushes, Char couldn’t help but smile.

This very rock was where the Mo Yu Snails lived; the Mo Yu Snails were quite valuable, and he hadn’t forgotten about this resource spot over these days.

Just that he had been too busy before, his entire attention focused on killing the Thorny Bone Snake and collecting Praying Power, leaving no time to tend to these Mo Yu Snails.

Now, as he wouldn’t be able to kill the skeleton widow spider for a while, it made more sense to attend to other matters.

After a period of rest, there were indeed more Mo Yu Snails under the rock.

"Mo Yu Snails?" Freyja exclaimed in surprise.

"Freyja, do you know what Mo Yu Snails need? What do they eat?" he asked.

"Mo Yu Snails like a damp environment. If we’re going to move this rock into the carriage, we’ll need to keep it moist at all times," she replied.

"That’s easy, just let the Lotus Leaf Frog take care of it," he responded.

"As for their diet, feeding them the vegetables we grow would suffice. If possible, they’d do better eating the leaves of Magic Plants from the Garden Secret Realm," she advised.

"Then let’s get started!" he declared.

Soon, they all set to work, cutting off a portion of the rock and relocating it to the second carriage, placing it in the area originally intended for a vegetable garden.

But this was only one of the objectives for the day. The main purpose of the outing was still hunting.

The skeleton widow spider was far more vigilant and cunning than the Thorny Bone Snake, even adept at ambushing. During his second time clearing the lesser beasts, he nearly capsized in the ditch.

So he didn’t dare to provoke it any further.

As for the other minor bosses in the different directions, Char hadn’t dared provoke them at all.

Because according to the information left by Kedel, these minor bosses had already reached a Challenge Level of 8 and above years ago. Taking into account the progress of the skeleton widow spider over the years, the other bosses’ Challenge Levels had likely reached Level 10 or even higher.

This was not something he could challenge now. Even taking a distant look to ascertain their Challenge Levels was fraught with great risk.

Additionally, since he had killed nearly every type of Undead once, hunting more Undead wouldn’t contribute much Praying Power, so Char had to turn his attention elsewhere.

He had nearly collected the first kills of the Undead, but Florence Forest still housed many Demon Beasts he hadn’t slain yet, from which he could continuously obtain Praying Power.

Especially since he was now close to amassing a hundred strands of Praying Power, and the Lotus Leaf Frog was also close to evolving.

Indeed, after the Lantern Firefly, the Lotus Leaf Frog was nearing the standard required for evolution. It wasn’t far from Level 3, and as Char estimated for the Lotus Leaf Frog, once it reached a Challenge Level of 3, it could evolve, potentially reaching a Level 7 after the evolution.

Comparable to the Fierce Sword Firefly—perhaps lacking a bit in combat power, but it would still be a formidable existence at Challenge Level 7.

For the Lotus Leaf Frog, this was undoubtedly a good thing.

Even if the Lotus Leaf Frog was not sensitive to changes, it couldn’t help but feel disheartened in such a situation.

Now, however, it was about to evolve, and its presence was expected to surge once again, perhaps even reaching a level it had never experienced before.

Char was genuinely happy for the Lotus Leaf Frog from the bottom of his heart, so he hoped to complete its evolution as soon as it met the necessary conditions.

He had originally thought that the Star Worm would be the first to evolve, given its unique advantages.

But to his surprise, despite the Star Worm having progressed from a Challenge Level of 0 to 3, it had not met the requirements to evolve, which Char found quite unexpected.

In the Prayer Room, Char was engaged in constructing a new Magic Model.

As for hunting? That was entirely left to Freyja and the Thunder Night Dragon; if Char still had to do many things himself, then his efforts over the past days would have been in vain.

Building Magic Models was easier with some experience. Char was not sure about other Spellcasters, but he found the process quite smooth.

His second learned spell was called "Natural Premonition," a core skill of the Natural Prophet and the reason they were referred to as Prophets.

After learning "Natural Premonition," when something good or bad was about to happen, a Natural Prophet would have an instinctive feeling, almost like a premonition, that would form something akin to intuition, prompting them to make choices more beneficial for themselves.

Char wouldn’t overlook something regarded as a core skill, so after mastering the life-saving spell "Crystal Force Field," he had focused all his energy on "Natural Premonition." After diligent effort, he finally mastered the spell.

Speaking of which, "Natural Premonition" was actually another life-saving spell.

After all, how could something that helps you seek good fortune and avoid disaster not be considered a life-saving spell?

Now, Char intended to learn "Blazing Flame Arrow," a level 0 spell derived from Flame Arrow. It had greater lethality than Flame Arrow, longer range, and upon hitting a target, it would explode.

The effect was comparable to the standard 1st-level spell of a regular Mage—"Burning Hand."

Magic Power formed runes, runes constructed the Magic Model, and after a little over an hour, Char successfully built the Magic Model for "Blazing Flame Arrow."

Upon opening his eyes, he glanced at his task bar again.

In the time he had been constructing Magic Models, as expected, Freyja and the Thunder Night Dragon had hunted several Demon Beasts, and after settlement, the Praying Power within the Prayer House immediately exceeded a hundred strands.

In the early evening, as the first snow fluttered in the sky, a point of light pierced the dimness and approached the Garden Secret Realm—it was Char and the others, returning home full of trophies.

Upon Char’s return to the Secret Realm, he discovered that the Lotus Leaf Frog’s Challenge Level had reached 3 and it displayed the option to evolve.

Overjoyed, he immediately called the Lotus Leaf Frog over.

After leveling up, the Lotus Leaf Frog didn’t look much different, except for a slight increase in size and certain changes in Skills.

The commotion swiftly attracted the attention of all beings present in the Secret Realm; having had several experiences before, everyone realized what was about to happen.
