Harem Cultivation System

Chapter 11: Cultivation 11— My New Harem Members .....are Hotly Wild in Every Aspect II

Chapter 11

A team match most definitely wasn’t an option; it was a battle royale — every one for themselves. No sides, no teammates, just all-out war or rather battle.

The instant the alarm rang, the training room that was brimming with killing intent completely tipped over into a hellscape. Ariel wasted no time commanding her legion of crimson butterflies to attack, followed by consecutive downward concentrated Dao blasts.

Her fray of attacks kicked the battle into motion. Smoke filled the training room. From within the smoke, purple eyes shone brightly.

"Not bad, not bad at all... harridan!" Nibel used her scythe to cleave the smoke in half, after which she launched a series of forward attacks against Ariel.

"Don’t forget about me!" A powerful energy blast tore through the ground, separating Ariel and Nibel from their locked-in brawl.

A large cannon wrapped itself around Rosalia’s right arm. Then dissolved into a seven-foot-tall sledgehammer. She leaped into the air and slammed the hammer into the ground, releasing a devastating energy wave.

None of them were focused on Haruki; they were just hell-bent on killing each other. So he chose to sit this one out. He spent his time scrolling on the internet. When the time limit of an hour elapsed, the ladies had to stop their brawl before they brought the entire building to the ground.

It was already midnight, and Haruki sure as hell wanted to go to bed.

"See you all tomorrow.... I’m going to bed." He waved a hand in the air and shuffled over to the automated door that opened on its own.

"Tsk!.... How boring." Space distorted around Nibel, and she vanished.

Ariel and Rosalia followed suit, warping out of the training room right after Nibel left. For Ariel, there was no point in staying if Haruki wasn’t watching. As for Nibel and Rosalia, their feelings were way more complex.

By 6:00 am sharp, Haruki’s loud and unsettling ringtone woke him from bed by every nook or cranny, and he was forced to answer the phone. Whoever the caller was, they sure were very relentless. Calling about seventy-eight times was a stretch even for stalkers.

More annoyingly, Haruki kept his phone on the desk by the mirror, which was not close to the bed in any way possible. The buzzing sound of his phone was simply unbearable for him to bear.

He shuffled out of bed and grabbed the phone with utmost annoyance. He slapped a thumb on the answer button, placing the phone over his mouth.

"Who the hell is this— even if you were a stalker, at least have some decency." Haruki was fuming hot — not only was his slumber disrupted, but he got woken up at 6 am — He was almost indefinitely annoyed.

"Hahahaha... You’ve got quite the spunk.... Kid." A familiar voice laughed over the phone. Haruki recognised the voice immediately — it was someone that, even if he wanted to, he couldn’t forget.

"Guild Master... Dion, to what do I owe the pleasure? I thought the promotion exam was in two weeks." He drew a stool and sat with a profound grimace.

"I don’t remember telling you that I won’t be giving more tasks to you. I noticed you haven’t been to the guild since the last time we spoke. Or have you forgotten the rules and guidelines of the Yuxian Cultivator Guild?" Dion said with a profoundly serious tone.

One of the most important rules of the Yuxian Cultivator Guild:

’Rule no. 7: So far as the cultivator is not impaired or granted a Leave of Absence (LOA), he or she must carry out a cleansing mission daily or for a maximum of two days depending on the length of the mission. Not regarding this rule will lead to permanent seizure of the Cleansing Licence and a fine of $200,000. Failure to pay the fine will result in 15 years of national labour. Failure to comply will lead to death on site.’

The very rules scared most individuals from becoming cultivators because most national guilds used the same rule.

"I presume you didn’t just call me to candidly remind me of the rules you asked them to paste on the clipboard of my suite?" Haruki inquired.

"No, no, surely not." Dion burst into laughter.

"Then why the sudden.... early morning call... Guild Master?" Haruki furrowed a brow.

"That’s because... my dear rising star, I have a cleansing mission for you that can’t simply be refused." Dion leaned over his desk on the other side of the phone.

"Why?" Haruki asked skeptically.

"Because—"

Just like in the movies, Haruki found himself at the airport about to board a plane to Akiou Prefecture against his very own will because of one word that the Guild Master mentioned to him — he had no choice but to comply.

The ladies, on the other hand, were more than happy to explore the new world they found themselves in.

"Hmhmhmhmhm. Do you guys know that I boarded the fastest train on this continent?" Ariel rubbed a hand under her nose.

"No fucking way?!" Rosalia clutched her hands against her tummy in excitement.

"I suppose... that’s a bit cool." Nibel tried her very best to maintain her upfront facial expression.

’That’s so fucking cool. We didn’t have trains or planes back in my home world.’ But she was absolutely brimming with excitement on the inside.

Nibel and Rosalia gathered around Ariel to get all the deets. Haruki looked back at them, eyes filled with confusion.

’Since when did they become friends?’ For a bunch of people who were at each other’s throats a few days ago, they seemed very chill with each other. That was what Haruki did not understand yet.

"All your documents seem intact—"

"It’s really a pleasure to attend to a cleanser—"

"Wish you the best of luck."

The airport attendant was quite amused and handled their documents with unparalleled speed. She returned their stamped passports to them.

They headed into the airplane. Haruki was super shocked and excited when they got directed to first class.

’Just how rich... is Dion anyways?’ To afford first class for four people was no small feat. Then again, the Guild Master was amongst the top five richest in the Yuxian Continent. Not even the YFAD (Yuxian Financial Administration Division) knew his actual net worth.

’Another cleansing mission given to me by Dion—’

’What’s the worst that could happen?’

Haruki chose to keep an optimistic mind. Not that this mission could be worse than the last, right?
