He had his rut about three months back.

And after that, he stayed away from sex with Noah for a week or two. He couldn’t remember properly, but after that, they had frequent sex, so he didn’t know when he got Michael pregnant.

"Sir, will you go to him now?" Sebastian asked, and Noah raised his head as he stopped twirling the ring on his finger.

"Yes." Noah answered and got up from his chair. "I need to at least see how he’s doing."

"Would you like me to arrange an appointment with the family doctor?" He asked.

Sebastian wasn’t his right-hand man. He was simply someone who fought in the front lines for the pack and had sworn allegiance to the pack. His loyalty lay with whoever was the Alpha at the moment.

So, he was like a free man and at the same time, someone who was tied to the crown.

He would listen to whoever was wearing the crown and never betray them. And if he broke that sacred oath that he made out of his own volition, he would be killed in his sleep by the moon goddess.

Noah could not understand why he tied himself to the crown, but it seemed like it was a story that had to do with the scar on his face, so he did not speak about it with any of his masters in the past.

And it also seemed like that oath had given him more strength beyond that of the normal werewolf, a strength that was rumored to be more than that of the Alpha since he was meant to protect the Alpha.

"Sebastian," Noah suddenly called as they made their way to the car. "Aren’t you tired?" He asked and Sebastian paused.

He stood in one place and then turned to Noah.

"It pleases me that you worry about me, sir." He said. "But I knew what road I was headed in when I made my oath." He did not smile, but Noah could see his lips slightly curl.

The scarred man with a dangerous and cold appearance, who never smiled, tried his best not to smile after answering the question of his young master.

It was because no one had ever asked him.

All Alphas were cold and cruel in their dealings. They did not entertain such flimsy feelings, so it was strange and yet refreshing when he heard Noah’s question that was filled with concern.

At least, this Alpha would not walk down the same road as the others.

He was looking forward to seeing the waves this Alpha made. If the waves would wash him away in the course of action, or if he would succeed in washing away those who were against him and his new resolution.

’It seems my service this time will be quite exciting.’ He thought, finally giving in to the smile that wanted to dance on his lips. ’How long had it been since I felt this way?’

He shook his head, shaking off the smile, and turned to Noah; his firm and stern expression had returned.

"Sir, let’s get going." He said. "We have much work to do afterward."

"Yes." Noah said and looked over the transparent walls that showed the outside of the company perfectly. The walls of the company were made with glass so even when walking through the lobby or going up the elevator, one would see the outside clearly.

Noah sighed.

They had so much work to do. It seemed like he wouldn’t get to see Michael as much as he wanted during this period.
