"Your wife was quite the feast, you know that."

Mark started talking about my ex-wife while reminiscing how much he made a fool out of me by fucking her behind my back.

"Damn, she knew how to moan under a man perfectly as if she was built for the job. Maybe it was that good because she was ’your’ wife, but I loved screwing her every single time, and she did not fail to crawl back the next day," he laughed. "I’m sure you were never able to satisfy her properly, seeing as how your sexuality quickly switched, and now you enjoy getting screwed by men. You were always a weakling but when I heard this, I felt it was on another level." He said had cackled like someone had cracked the most funny joke.

Ah, I had been the fool. I had been the stupid fool who did not notice any of this.

"It was pretty easy to convince her to divorce you, haha. But after you guys divorced, I didn’t need to keep seeing her but I did like the sex. I kept her around for a while giving her fake promises that she stupidly believed. I was mad, you know. I was mad that she chose to get married to the likes of you so I decided to teach her a lesson. I sold her off to some guys I know, and they gave her ’the time of her life’ knocking her up if you know what I mean."

Every cell in my body trembled. Just why did he need to go that far? After using her, he gave her to others and they got her pregnant? Was he a psychopath who enjoyed ruining other people’s lives?

Just what was wrong with him? Why was he like this?

"And as for the people in your workplace, well, they were so easy to buy that I almost felt sorry for you. Well, almost." He said and laughed. "Well, I didn’t quite like them too much so I fucked them up too. I think that company’s closed up by now. They did that to you, they deserve it, right?"

I crumbled at his words. It felt like the blood had drained from my veins just listening to all the horrible things he had done to not just me but others.

To think he was responsible for all of that. He... He was evil. Truly evil and I couldn’t sit still while knowing this evil bastard had been the one to ruin my life. I clenched my fists and vanished my teeth, my tears rolling down bitterly.

I wanted to hit him. I wanted to hit him for how much he had made me suffer. For the number of times, he made me shed tears all through my life and how he had used me, I wanted to hit him.

"Are you going to hit me?" He asked and I gnashed my teeth even more. "But I don’t think so, you’re a coward, after all." He said and I froze, leading to his laughter.

Yet, I couldn’t move my body. It was as if I was tied to a chain. I couldn’t go against him, and even when I was hurting so badly for the things he did to me, all I could do was cry like the coward he accused me of being.

"If you’re going to get one hit in, you better do it now while I’m expecting it." He said.

His dry taunt wasn’t making me feel any better. After hitting him once, then what? What would I do after that? What would that do for me? 𝒇𝒓𝙚𝒆𝔀𝓮𝓫𝒏𝓸𝙫𝓮𝓵.𝓬𝙤𝙢

If he got mad, he would punch me back and have the guys outside beat me to a pulp and if he didn’t get mad, I would just be playing into his game and doing whatever he wanted like a puppet.

I was tired. Tired that I had to live with this kind of man. A man who had neither blood running through his veins nor a beating heart.

He was a monster and all I could do was cry about it.

"Pathetic," he spat out.

Yeah, I was pathetic. So, he should just let me go already. Just leave me alone.

I got up and staggered a bit but was able to hold myself down.

"I... I’m going." I said.

"Where do you think you’re going?" Zane asked, dropping his hand on my shoulder and I stopped.

"Is there something you want from me?" I asked with my head down.

"You seem to be mistaken, brother." Mark said as he got up from his seat. "Though you came to me with your own two feet, I’m not just going to allow you to go out like that." He stood in front of me and grinned. "I hear from Zane that you got yourself another lover. And he’s a big guy who happens to ’care’ for you."

He was talking about Noah. So, Zane already reported our encounter to him, huh?

Well, what else was he going to do? It wasn’t like he could buy Noah to break up with me. In the first place, we weren’t dating, and Noah ’needed’ me. So, I wasn’t worried.

"Zane also told me he might be with you for your money, and you’re well aware of that," he said. "Let’s see, would that lover of yours still stay with you, even if it’s for your money if that asshole of yours expands into the shape of three dicks combined?" He asked and my eyes widened.

He wouldn’t.

But there was nothing this man wouldn’t do.

I tried to shrug Zane’s hand off but he already knew what Mark’s plan was and pinned my face down on the table. I couldn’t move.

"Now, now, no need to be feisty, my dear brother. I’ll make things easier for you so you don’t feel ’scared’, how’s that?" He said.

"What sort of bullshit are you spouting?" I roared, every cell in my body screaming for me to act if I didn’t want to get caught up in a situation I would never get out of. "Get off me. Get off." I struggled but Zane held me down firmly.

This was why having muscles was important, as well as the strength to use them.

"I’m doing this from you, brother. You like getting screwed, right?" He asked, and then shoved something in my mouth.

I was confused and tried to spit it out but he pinched my nose and covered my mouth.

"I’ll only release my hand if you swallow it. If you don’t, then prepare to suffocate to your death, my brother."
