Wait! How Did The Stray Dog I Picked Up Turn Into A Man?!

"If we end up having a daughter, let’s call her Olivia." Noah said and Michael’s eyes sparkled.

"Olivia?" He asked, but his voice was barely above a hushed gasp. "How were you able to come up with a name so fast when you weren’t even expecting a daughter and... Why Olivia?"

"True that I wasn’t expecting a daughter but that’s exactly what I would name my daughter. It just came to mind as soon as you asked for a name." Noah explained and kissed Michael’s forehead. "And the reason being that it symbolizes ’peace’."

It was the peace Noah got with Michael. And that peace bore fruit. So, it was the perfect name.

The mood was sweet and soft but then Noah added,

"And if it’s a boy, let’s call him Michael Junior. MJ."

(I thought this might’ve been a pretty nice name, lol)

"What?!" Michael exclaimed loudly causing Noah to laugh quite heartily as he expected that reaction, but he was joking, obviously.

However, he wished his son would share more resemblance to Michael than him.

"We’ll call him Oliver." He said, brushing Michael’s hair softly and staring deep into his eyes. "It shares the same meaning."

Michael’s heart was thumping. He felt defeated. He wanted to come up with a name, too, but he couldn’t think of a name that beat the ones Noah called.

How was he so good at this?

He never even expected to be a father until recently so...

Michael sighed and then smiled.

"Jeez," he reached for Noah’s chin and softly caressed it. "...did you like the peace that much?"

"You have no idea, Michael. That peace was my everything." He said and Michael’s face flushed. "The moments I spent with you were the most fulfilling and happiest days of my life."

Because of those sweet and kind words coming from the man he loved, Michael found his heart going on a rampage.

He wanted it to stop, as it made him uncomfortable and vulnerable, but how could he? He was in Noah’s arms, cuddling with him and looking him straight in the loving eyes, and yet... How could his heart stop raging in a situation like this?

"I’m really going to miss you, Noah." Michael said. "I might even go mad from waiting for you."

"No, please don’t." He grabbed Michael’s hand and kissed it, brushing it with his thumb afterward. "Hearing you say that makes me even more reluctant to let you go. It’s hard for me, too, and it’s even harder knowing I have to put you through this. Michael, I’ll keep saying it. I’m sorry that you have to suffer because of me. I don’t want you to suffer, and I don’t want you to be away from me either, but... As much as I want to be selfish and keep you by my side, I don’t want to make a mistake that will end up ruining you. My selfish and greedy heart might be the death of you, so please..." He shut his eyes, pressing Michael’s hand to his face. "...allow me to send you off without much worry. Do not allow me to stop you from leaving."

Michael stared at him. He was serious. The danger that he had found himself in seemed to be the type that would carry regrets.

Even if he didn’t want to let him go and keep him by his side for the rest of their lives, he was still willing to make such a sacrifice and let him leave.

They didn’t even know how long it would take. Months? Years? How long did he have to wait for Noah?

It was torturing to think about but he would persevere. For Noah who was willing to go this far, he too would be willing to wait for as long as it took.

Along with their child that was growing in his belly.

"I understand." Michael said, taking his hand out of his reach and then hugging him, burying his face in his embrace. "I’ll go and I’ll wait. But why are you saying it like you’re the one breaking us up? I told you I was breaking up with you, remember?" He laughed but Noah held his hand and looked at him with a serious gaze.

"I’m not breaking up with you." He said but Michael ended up laughing more. "It’s more like a long-distance relationship."

"A long-distance relationship with no contact?" Michael asked as he kept laughing, but this got Noah upset.

He didn’t like how Michael kept using the rod ’break-up’. He wasn’t breaking up with him. It was more like giving each other space for a long time.

Michael saw how his words affected Noah but he wasn’t going to relent. He let Noah off the hook too easily after finding out he had been deceiving him for a long time, and then there was the involvement in his parent’s death that he still hadn’t heard the full explanation for.

Hmm, but why was he not as upset as he should be? Well, maybe it was because he equally deceived Noah and didn’t let him know that people were looking for him while having the mindset to keep him for as long as possible.

Yeah, that sounded like a plausible reason not to get upset. His heart was already set like that so he wasn’t upset for long. The shock was still there though. And then the fact that he was involved in his parent’s death somehow...

It was all messed up.

But he still believed that he let Noah off too lightly.

’I probably got swayed by his apology.’

Noah was so sweet when he apologized and was stubborn to the point he would never agree to a breakup. Even when he grew annoyed, he did not take it out on him violently and still worried that he would not eat because of this.

So how in the world was he supposed to stay upset for long?

"Believe it or not, you and I are breaking up." Michael said. He wanted to see what Noah’s limit was. "You can use any fancy word but it does not change the fact that you and I are brea-- hmph!"

Since Michael wasn’t going to stop talking on his own, Noah helped him by sealing his lips with his own.

He kissed Michael passionately to the point that Michael forgot what he was talking about and simply kissed back.

As they kissed, Noah interlocked their fingers, and then Michael noticed the ring on his finger.

Seeing it, he remembered how Noah took it without his permission and then bit his lip.

Noah’s eyebrows knitted together a little as he tasted his own blood, wondering why Michael was acting so rebellious.

"Ah, that serves you right." Michael said. "How dare you steal the ring I wanted to present to you with a happy heart?" He demanded and Noah looked at the ring.

He quickly understood what Michael was on about but that did not give him a reason to bite his lips.

Since he was going to be rebellious, he would go ahead and be rebellious with him.

"How dare you bite your husband’s lip?" He asked and Michael flushed. Husband?

But he quickly picked up his composure.

"H-hey, don’t make me laugh. What husband?" Still, the term caused him to blush. "How are you going to be my husband when we’re brea--" Once again, Noah sealed his lips.

They kissed, mixing Noah’s blood in the saliva, and Michael moaned, falling into ecstasy at their mind-blowing kiss.

"Do you still think I’m not your husband?" Noah asked as he pulled away, licking his lips as he watched Michael pant heavily, trying to catch his breath.

He was a mess...Noah gently brushed the corner of his eye with his thumb... But his messy appearance turned him on.

It was just a name, anyway.

"Then," he leaned in, wrapping his arms around Noah’s neck, and whispered into Noah’s ear very intimately. "Please fuck me, hubby?"
