Han Ziyan had it all planned out. However, there was a big gap between reality and ideal.

Now that Han Ruochen had solved most of the problems, Han Ziyan was worried that her mother would also abandon her.

After all, she had nothing good to offer, with all her good plans ending up in a fiasco.

The more she thought about it, the more anxious Han Ziyan felt. She started rubbing her thighs. It would be too difficult for her to deal with Han Ruochen and her siblings now that things had started to get out of her control.

"Sure," Tong Zhaodi nodded, and of course, Han Ruochen ignored the mark of a slap on her face. It wasn’t that she was a bad friend, but she truly could not understand what was going on with Tong Zhaodi and how much longer she could continue to act like a doormat for the Tong family. She could at most stretch her hand out for Tong Zhaodi to take, as for what to do. The decision ultimately lay with her.

Han Ruochen nodded and walked toward the reef. The water near the coast was way too muddy, and there were pink flamingos flying all over the place. She didn’t want to fight with these fiery red birds.

So she walked around the reef and headed straight toward the red mark shown on the screen of the system. As she arrived at the reef, she ran into Aunt Gossip. The woman looked at Han Ruochen with some envy in her eyes and then remarked with a smile, "Ruochen, are you here to show us your lucky feats again?"

Han Ruochen simply smiled and said, "Aunt, last night was too harsh on everyone. I don’t think there is much my luck can do."

As she spoke, she crouched down and picked three stranded turbot and placed them in her bucket.

Aunt Gossip: "..."

She turned to look at her son and questioned, "What is this? You just walked past this spot. How come you didn’t see these turbots, and she did?"

"Mom, don’t be angry with me. Everyone knows that turbots can change their colour according to their surroundings; my eyes are not as sharp as Han Ruochen’s. Of course, I couldn’t see it."

"You fool! Those turbots could sell for a hundred yuan each; that’s more than your father’s three months’ earnings."

"Ahhh!! Just scold me if you want to; there is no need to use your hands, Mom!"
