’What rotten luck. Running into these two freaks first thing in the morning,’ the man muttered angrily as he walked away, feeling utterly aggrieved.

Watching the man’s back, the Monk said coolly, "Benefactor, the Buddha saves all living beings. Blaspheming like this will bring you retribution."

Hearing this, the man didn’t even turn his head as he spat back, "Pah! You wicked Monk! The Buddha you worship can’t be much better!"

The man continued cursing, but he failed to notice that the Monk had bizarrely vanished from his original spot. In the next instant, the Monk appeared behind him and delivered a swift kick to his rear. Caught completely off guard, the man went flying and landed flat on his face.

After landing the blow, the Monk was back in his original spot. The whole thing seemed incredibly bizarre. But Lin Yun’s eyes widened. ’It’s another Body Technique Martial Skill! And it’s even more profound than the Daoist’s!’

"Boundless Celestial Venerable," the Daoist chimed in. "I foresaw a bloody calamity in your future and acted to resolve it. This was a good deed. Benefactor, you should be grateful to the heavens, not harbor resentment that could jeopardize your future."

At these words, the man gave up on talking to the two oddballs. He turned to leave again, moving much faster than before, all while keeping a wary eye on what was behind him.

Having been ambushed twice, the man had learned his lesson. He now kept a constant watch over his shoulder to prevent it from happening again.

However, against the Monk and Daoist and their superb Body Technique Martial Skills, his vigilance was little more than wishful thinking. This time, both the Monk and Daoist moved as one.

"Amitabha. How virtuous, how virtuous. There is no greater good than to know your faults and correct them. On behalf of the Buddha, I shall accept this small token of your sincerity," the Monk said, nonchalantly picking up the money pouch at his feet.

Hearing this, the man completely lost it. These two were robbing him in broad daylight, yet they had the audacity to make it sound so righteous! With so many people watching, who couldn’t tell they had just forcibly snatched his money pouch?

"Damn you! You two robbers! I’ll die before I let you get away with this!" The man was desperate. That pouch contained everything he owned. He had painstakingly saved up more than ten Broken Primordial Stones, and now they were all gone. How could he possibly let it go?
