"Tell us, where is Ah Shan?" The Wind Forest Sect Disciples interrogated the villagers one by one.

"Ah Shan isn’t here. He went hunting in the mountains," a villager replied in terror. But in the next instant, he was met by the longsword in a Wind Forest Sect Disciple’s hand.

With the old chief dead, the villagers glared at the Wind Forest Sect Disciples, their eyes burning with a deep, unyielding hatred. It was these people who, in less than half an hour, had slaughtered the village’s children and elders.

"I’ll ask you one last time. Where is Ah Shan?" a Wind Forest Sect Disciple asked coldly, paying no mind to the villagers’ stares.

"There is no Ah Shan here! You’re all demons, and heaven won’t forgive you!" The old chief’s death had thoroughly enraged the villagers, and they all roared with hatred.

"Hmph. In that case, you can all go die." No longer bothering to ask, the group of Wind Forest Sect Disciples took action. The villagers, lacking any Cultivation, were like lambs to the slaughter in their hands.

In less than a quarter of an hour, the dozen or so Wind Forest Sect Disciples had slaughtered the entire small mountain village. Everyone was dead, except for Lan Xi.

Walking through the village, Lin Yun finally reached the old chief’s side. Looking at the chief, who had died with his eyes open, Lin Yun knelt and gently closed them.

"No matter who did this, I swear to the heavens and the earth, I, Lin Yun, will make you pay this blood debt with your own blood!" With a furious roar, Lin Yun’s eyes turned crimson, and terrifying torrents of blood-red Elemental Power burst forth from his body.

Completely enraged, Lin Yun spotted the corpse of the Wind Forest Sect Disciple to the side. Without a second thought, he unleashed his Tiger Roar Fist and violently smashed the body to pieces.
