It was a bittersweet experience. The next morning finally arrived. After breakfast, Luo Feng, who had been gone for a month, returned. Seeing the smug, satisfied look on his face, it was clear he’d had an incredibly blissful month.

With an arm around each of the two women, he walked into the main hall. Seeing Lin Yun and the others all present, Luo Feng asked Lin Yun, "Are you ready?"

’You’re the one who should be asked if you’re ready,’ Lin Yun thought. Outwardly, however, he replied respectfully, "I’m ready."

However, Lu Bingning’s and Lan Xi’s masters clutched Luo Feng’s arms, unwilling to let him go. Lu Bingning’s master, the renowned "ice mountain beauty" of Yanhuang Academy, even whined coquettishly, "Brother Feng..."

Lu Bingning stared at her master in astonishment. ’Ever since she met Luo Feng, Master seems to have completely forgotten about me.’ As for Lin Yun, he wanted to rush up and demand, ’Are you leaving or not?’

The three of them shared another cloyingly sweet moment. Aside from Puzhu, who was already used to it, everyone else looked awkward. Finally, after Luo Feng and the two women said their goodbyes, Luo Feng took a Teleportation Sub-array Map from his Space Ring.

Teleportation Sub-array Maps were divided into three levels. The one Puzhu had taken out in Celestial Eagle Valley was a First Level Sub-array Map, capable of teleporting only one person. The one Luo Feng held now, however, was a Second Level Sub-array Map, capable of teleporting ten people.

As for Third Level Sub-array Maps, there were likely no more than twenty in the entire Eastern Domain. Each Third Level Sub-array Map could teleport one hundred people at once, but their price was astronomically high. Even the Six Great Forces of the Eastern Domain combined possessed no more than twenty, to say nothing of other powers.

"Let’s go." At Luo Feng’s words, Puzhu, Lin Yun, Lu Bingning, and Lan Xi walked to his side. Luo Feng then activated the Array within the Second Level Sub-array Map. Instantly, a Teleportation Array enveloped the five of them.

"Yun’Er, be careful in the Eastern Heart Domain! Remember, your safety comes first in everything you do," Zhang Jingxiang cried out, tears glistening in her eyes.

"Brother Feng..." Just like Zhang Jingxiang, Lu Bingning’s and Lan Xi’s masters now had tears streaming down their faces.

Amidst the cries of the three women, the figures of Lin Yun and the others vanished from within the Teleportation Array. Soon, the Main Hall returned to its previous state.

He felt as if he were passing through a tunnel of space and time. In a daze, Lin Yun opened his eyes again to find himself in a great hall.

The hall was massive, comparable in size to the Main Hall of Celestial Eagle Valley, perhaps even grander.

"Palace Master, you’re finally back." As Lin Yun slowly came to his senses, he noticed several elders waiting around them.

These were the Main Seat Elders of Flawless Palace, each one a powerhouse at the Celestial Spirit Realm. There were five in total. When they saw Luo Feng, reproachful looks appeared on their faces. Luo Feng had been gone for a month. Based on their understanding of him, he had undoubtedly been off carousing and chasing women again.

"Haha, you’re all here. Perfect. I have something to announce," Luo Feng said with a shameless grin, walking directly to the main seat of the Flawless Palace Main Hall and sitting down.

"His name is Lin Yun. He is a genius I brought back from the Southeast Domain, a talent with the aptitude of a Demon Fiend. From this day forward, he is a... hmm... a servant disciple of my Flawless Palace," Luo Feng announced, pointing at Lin Yun.

Hearing the first half of Luo Feng’s statement, the five Main Seat Elders all smiled. They had heard bits and pieces about what happened with Puzhu in Celestial Eagle Valley, and they also knew that a genius with the aptitude of a Demon Fiend had appeared on the Southeast Domain’s Green Talent List this time.

However, when they heard the next part, they all nearly stumbled and fell. A servant disciple? This was a genius with the aptitude of a Demon Fiend! Even if not a Core Disciple, he should at the very least be a Direct Disciple.

What was Luo Feng thinking? Making Lin Yun a servant disciple? Wasn’t that like making a legendary general a mere gatekeeper?

"Er... Palace Master, this Lin Yun is a genius with the aptitude of a Demon Fiend. Making him a servant disciple seems a bit too..." one of the Main Seat Elders spoke up.

From their expressions, it was clear that everyone, including Puzhu, disagreed with Luo Feng’s decision. To make a genius with the aptitude of a Demon Fiend a servant disciple was a criminal waste of talent.

Faced with everyone’s doubt, Luo Feng showed no intention of explaining himself. He simply looked at Lin Yun and asked, "What do you say? Are you willing to start as a servant disciple of my Flawless Palace?"

Hearing Luo Feng’s words, Lin Yun looked at him and guessed at the man’s intentions. ’He probably wants me to temper myself by working my way up from the very bottom. This would be a better way to hone my character.’

"Fine. I am willing to become a servant disciple of Flawless Palace," Lin Yun replied.

Lin Yun’s guess was entirely his own subjective assumption. If he knew that Luo Feng’s decision was merely a sudden whim—that it would be fun to make a genius with the aptitude of a Demon Fiend a servant disciple of Flawless Palace—Lin Yun would probably try to kill him. That man truly had no shame.

Seeing Lin Yun agree, several Main Seat Elders shook their heads and sighed. ’This boy really doesn’t understand the Palace Master. He’s too young. He actually thinks the Palace Master is doing this to train him.’

"Alright, this matter is settled. Lin Yun, if you can become an Inner Sect Disciple within two years, I can accept you as my Closed-door Disciple. That’s something countless disciples of Flawless Palace dream of, you know. I haven’t even taken a single disciple yet," Luo Feng declared, finalizing the decision. He then made this promise to Lin Yun with a smirk.

With that said, Luo Feng dismissed everyone. Lu Bingning and Lan Xi became Puzhu’s disciples. Although the other five Main Seat Elders wanted to contend with Puzhu for them, they were ultimately unsuccessful.

As for Lin Yun, he followed a Steward toward the area for servant disciples.

Along the way, the Steward couldn’t understand why a mere servant disciple would be allowed to enter the Main Hall. What puzzled him most was that Lin Yun’s status as a servant disciple had been personally decreed by the Palace Master. This, he simply could not comprehend.

Normally, a servant disciple would never even get to see a Main Seat Elder, let alone the Palace Master, Luo Feng.

The status of servant disciples in Flawless Palace was just too low. Though called disciples, they were, to put it bluntly, just servants. They were responsible not only for cleaning the entire Flawless Palace but also for cooking, washing clothes, and other chores for the Outer Sect, Inner Sect, Direct, and Core Disciples.

They received few resources and had poor cultivation environments. Servant disciples were essentially just servants, and Flawless Palace gave each of them a pitiful amount of resources. How could such a person possibly attract the Palace Master’s attention? Throughout the walk, the Steward repeatedly glanced at Lin Yun, trying to figure out what was so different about this boy.
