Every one of these twenty-odd Firebirds was a treasure to the Flawless Palace, far more precious than the Tier Three Demon Beasts in the outer region.

Firebirds were rare to begin with, and the Flawless Palace had only managed to accumulate about twenty of them over many years.

As Tier Four Demon Beasts, Firebirds were famous for their high speed and long-distance flight, making them ideal mounts. That was why the price of Firebirds remained exorbitant throughout the Eastern Domain. Only one of the Six Great Forces, like the Flawless Palace, had the financial resources to purchase and raise so many of them.

After all, Firebirds had massive appetites and were very picky about their food. An ordinary faction simply couldn’t afford to keep them.

Lin Yun quietly observed the distant Firebird. Since he was unaware that the Flawless Palace only had about twenty of them, he watched for a full hour. Besides this one Firebird, there was no aura of any other Demon Beast in the vicinity.

’A Pure-blooded Demon Beast! My god, it’s actually a Pure-blooded Demon Beast!’ Lin Yun screamed inwardly. This Firebird was an absolute treasure. Every Martial Artist knew just how rare a Pure-blooded Demon Beast was.

He forced himself to calm his excitement and slow his ragged breathing. Though he was thrilled, a part of Lin Yun’s mind remained cool-headed. This Firebird’s strength was likely unmatched among Tier Four Demon Beasts. It would be incredibly unwise for the current Lin Yun to have any ideas about it.

What Lin Yun didn’t know was that this Firebird was Luo Feng’s personal mount. In the entire Demon Beast Ridge, this was the one and only Pure-blooded Demon Beast, which spoke volumes about its value.

This Firebird could be called the treasure of the Flawless Palace, as well as Luo Feng’s personal treasure. Back then, Luo Feng had paid a tremendous price to tame it. After successfully taming the Firebird, he had even hosted a banquet for the Six Great Forces of the Eastern Domain at the Flawless Palace, where they feasted and drank for three days and three nights.

Furthermore, Luo Feng doted on this Firebird completely. To give the simplest example, its diet consisted of Tier Four Demon Beasts.

Just think about it: it was a Tier Four Demon Beast that ate other Tier Four Demon Beasts. The price of a single Tier Four Demon Beast was far beyond what the current Lin Yun could ever hope to afford.

Of course, when it came to burning money, this Firebird paled in comparison to Little Ape. Little Ape was still just a Tier Two Demon Beast, yet its diet already consisted of Three-Stars Qi Essence Pills and Tier Three Demon Beasts.

By that logic, by the time Little Ape became a Tier Four Demon Beast, it would probably need to eat Tier Five Demon Beasts. And in the entire Eastern Domain, you could count the number of Tier Five Demon Beasts on one hand.

Lin Yun stared excitedly at the distant Firebird. A Pure-blooded Demon Beast! Unlike Lin Yun, Little Ape had merely glanced at the Firebird when it first appeared before lazily sprawling back into Lin Yun’s arms.

When it came to bloodlines, there probably wasn’t a single Demon Beast in the entire Celestial Spirit Continent that could compare to Little Ape. Though this Firebird was a Pure-blooded Demon Beast, in Little Ape’s eyes, its bloodline was far too inferior.
