Grabbing Tang Wushuang, the master and disciple quickly flew toward the Punishment Hall. The most important thing right now was the Space Ring; it held the majority of his wealth.

"Master, kill him! You have to kill him! Lin Shan, I challenge you to a fight to the death! I’m going to kill you!" Held by his master, Tang Wushuang roared madly, struggling relentlessly like a man possessed.

Zhong Lin watched Tang Wushuang with exasperation. ’The great Young Prince of Yunlu County... How did one trip to Celestial Net Peak turn him into this?’

"Lin Shan, what did you do to him?" Zhong Lin asked.

Hearing this, Lin Yun shrugged. "I have no idea. He met some... like-minded friends in there. Who knows what they got up to."

Lin Yun’s expression was the picture of innocence, but Zhong Lin naturally didn’t believe his nonsense. From the first time he’d taken notice of Lin Yun, Zhong Lin knew this was a guy who never came out on the losing end. His schemes for messing with people were endless.

"Let’s go. We’ll head to the Punishment Hall as well to get your Space Ring back," Zhong Lin said, then grabbed Lin Yun and also flew off.

Lin Yun didn’t tell Zhong Lin that he had gotten the Space Rings from Tang Wushuang and his master. After all, the wealth within them was far too vast. If word leaked, he was afraid the pair would stop at nothing to hunt him down and kill him.

Feigning ignorance, Lin Yun arrived at the Punishment Hall. However, as soon as he was in the sky above it, a shudder ran through him. From deep within the Punishment Hall, an immense aura, thick with killing intent, swept out to meet them.

"Hmph. Daring to wreak havoc in my Punishment Hall. That master and disciple are showing me less and less respect," Zhong Lin snorted, then quickly flew toward the depths of the hall.

"Speak! Where’s my Space Ring? Did you steal it? If you don’t hand over my Space Ring today, I’ll kill every last one of you!"

Tang Wushuang’s master had been holding on to a sliver of hope, but when he arrived at the Punishment Hall, he knew his Space Ring had well and truly been stolen.

In an instant, Tang Wushuang’s master exploded with rage. He gathered all the Stewards of the Punishment Hall, threatening them and even injuring several in the process.

"You dare cause trouble in the Punishment Hall? Are you two, master and disciple, determined to show me no respect?" Just then, Zhong Lin descended from the sky, his face terrifyingly grim.

For Tang Wushuang’s master to openly assault the Punishment Hall Stewards was, in Zhong Lin’s eyes, a direct slap in the face.

Having lost their Space Rings, the anger of Tang Wushuang and his master had largely washed away their fear of Zhong Lin. The master immediately roared at him, "You have the nerve to say that? Your Punishment Hall pulls an inside job and steals the Space Rings from my disciple and me? I’ll tear this Punishment Hall apart if I have to, but I will get my Space Ring back today!"

"Hmph. Tear down my Punishment Hall?" Zhong Lin said coldly. "I dare you to try."

The two Primordial Ocean Realm experts refused to yield an inch. Meanwhile, Tang Wushuang, who had been silent until now, roared with fury the moment he saw Lin Yun. "Lin Shan, it was you, wasn’t it? You’re the one who stole our Space Rings! Master, kill him! He’s definitely the one who stole them!"

Hearing this, Lin Yun looked at Tang Wushuang as if he were an idiot. ’Has this guy completely lost his mind? It seems I’m the only thing he can think about now.’

"Are you nuts?" Lin Yun said. "I was locked up on Celestial Net Peak right alongside you. I’ve lost contact with my Space Ring now too. By your logic, can I say you stole it?"

Compared to Tang Wushuang, his master had evidently retained a shred of reason. In his heart, he didn’t believe Lin Yun was the thief either. It was common knowledge that all three of them had been locked up in Celestial Net Peak together; it would have been impossible for Lin Yun to steal his Space Ring.

With a perfect alibi, Lin Yun was fearless. And so, the clueless master and disciple once again turned their accusations on the Punishment Hall Stewards.

"Speak! Who the hell stole my Space Ring? If you don’t talk, you will all die!" Tang Wushuang’s master bellowed.

"Enough!" Zhong Lin shouted, his patience worn thin. "The Elder Council will handle this matter. If you dare cause any more trouble in my Punishment Hall, I will apprehend you myself, right now!"

"Apprehend me? If you have the guts, then come on! I see your Punishment Hall is nothing but a den of thieves, daring to steal from a Primordial Ocean Realm expert! This is outrageous!" Tang Wushuang’s master shot back, beside himself with fury.

First the disciple went mad, now the master. Faced with the shrew-like master and disciple, Zhong Lin’s own anger finally flared. Without hesitation, he decided to act.

With a single step, Zhong Lin appeared instantly before Tang Wushuang’s master. Before the man could even react, Zhong Lin had already struck out with a palm.

The gap in their strength was immense. A single palm strike sent Tang Wushuang’s master flying back more than ten meters. Scrambling to his feet, he roared at Zhong Lin, "What?! Your Punishment Hall pulls an inside job and now you want to silence me by killing me?"

Tang Wushuang’s master had been completely blinded by rage, and Zhong Lin had no desire to reason with a mad dog.

Zhong Lin unleashed a barrage of incredibly powerful attacks. Meanwhile, having already lost his Space Ring, Tang Wushuang’s master made no attempt to dodge, and the two Primordial Ocean Realm experts began a full-blown battle right in the middle of the Punishment Hall.

The aura of the Primordial Ocean Realm was terrifying. Across the entire Academy, students looked toward the Punishment Hall in horror as two incomparably powerful auras radiated from its depths.

The two auras struck fear into the hearts of the students. This was, without a doubt, a battle between experts of the Primordial Ocean Realm.

"What’s going on? Why are Primordial Ocean Realm experts fighting?"

"I don’t know. Maybe it’s just a sparring match."

"That aura is terrifying. Just the pressure alone is enough to make my skin crawl."

As the students murmured amongst themselves, other Primordial Ocean Realm experts in the Academy’s central district also sensed the battle. Several of them were already rushing toward the Punishment Hall.

"Lin Shan, I’ll kill you! We’re not on Celestial Net Peak anymore! Let’s see what tricks you have left!" Seeing his master completely suppressed by Zhong Lin and looking unlikely to last much longer, the mentally unstable Tang Wushuang’s only thought was to kill Lin Yun. With a furious roar, he charged.

"You’re looking to die? I’ll grant your wish." Unafraid in the face of Tang Wushuang’s madness, Lin Yun met his charge, and the two instantly clashed.

This scene struck the many Punishment Hall Stewards as rather odd.

’What in the world is happening?’ First, when the master and disciple arrived, it was Tang Wushuang who went berserk, screaming about killing Lin Shan. Then, after searching the pavilion, his master also lost his mind.

Now, stranger still, the masters were fighting each other, and the disciples were fighting each other. It was as if these two pairs were natural-born enemies, with every move a killing blow, leaving no quarter.
