The three of them rode atop the massive Black-striped Tiger, and it wasn’t crowded in the slightest. When Lu Bingning and Lan Xi heard that Lin Yun was going out to hunt Tier Three Demon Beasts, they had insisted on coming along.

Perhaps it was because the three of them had spent so little time together that both women cherished any opportunity to be with Lin Yun.

They arrived at the Imperial City Mountain Range that very day. Tier Three Demon Beasts were no longer a threat to Lin Yun. Unless it was a monstrously powerful one, he didn’t even need to make a move—Little Ape and the Black-striped Tiger could easily handle it.

He strolled leisurely through the mountain forest with Lu Bingning and Lan Xi. As for the task of finding and hunting Tier Three Demon Beasts, that naturally fell to Little Ape and the Black-striped Tiger.

Yet today, these tyrants were being slaughtered one by one by a Black-striped Tiger and a War Ape, powerless to fight back.

"Time really flies," Lin Yun sighed involuntarily as he strolled along. He could now move through the Imperial City Mountain Range without a care in the world, yet just two years ago, he had nearly died here.

Perhaps this was what people called growth. The Lin Yun who once had to be cautious in the Imperial City Mountain Range now feared none of its Demon Beasts, not even the ones at Tier Three.

"Stop sighing. We know you’ve gotten stronger. Such a show-off," Lan Xi said with a sweet laugh upon hearing his sigh.

With Lin Yun, Lan Xi seemed to transform back into that cheerful girl from the small mountain village who loved to laugh.

A sense of pride swelled in Lin Yun’s heart as he looked at the two women beside him. He felt incredibly lucky to have won both of their hearts.

With Lu Bingning and Lan Xi’s beauty, winning the heart of just one of them would be enough to drive countless men mad with desire, let alone both.

And yet Lin Yun had both of these beautiful women all to himself.

Overjoyed, Lin Yun indulged in a rare moment of smugness. ’I’m so blessed. But what can I do? I’m just too handsome. Sigh, everyone else must be dying of envy.’

Hearing this, both women giggled sweetly. Lu Bingning laughed and said, "You should say we must have been blind to fall for such a vain man like you."

Lu Bingning and Lan Xi were both heavenly maidens, blessed with devastating beauty and outstanding talent. While it was common for powerful experts on the Celestial Spirit Continent, like Luo Feng, to have several female companions, it was truly rare for women of their caliber to willingly share a single man.

As they wandered, Lin Yun and his companions came to the edge of a cliff. It was just sunset, and the blood-red light of the setting sun painted the entire horizon red.

The scene before them was like something out of a painting. Gazing at the beautiful sunset, Lu Bingning and Lan Xi instinctively linked their arms with Lin Yun’s.

One on his left and one on his right, the two women nestled against him. Lu Bingning murmured, "The sunset is so beautiful."

"If you like it, I’ll watch it with you every day," Lin Yun said with a smile.

Feelings are a strange thing. Sometimes you can’t even explain why you’ve fallen for someone. There’s no rhyme or reason to it; you just have.

You love being with him, love to see him smile, and love the sound of his voice. As long as you are with him, you are happy.

This was exactly how Lu Bingning and Lan Xi felt at this moment. In truth, Lin Yun had never done anything particularly romantic for them, but the two women just liked him—they just loved him.

Likewise, Lin Yun didn’t know why he loved them. He had only one thought in his heart: he would never let them suffer. He loved to see them smile, and he loved it when they nestled happily against him.

This was why, when he heard the Royal Family had imprisoned Lu Bingning, he had been willing to risk his very life to gain the approval of Flawless Palace. It was also why, after rescuing her, he had slaughtered more than half of the Forbidden Guard Army.

’This isn’t a question of right and wrong. To be perfectly honest, they are my women. If anyone dares to make them suffer, I would tear a hole in the heavens themselves, let alone the Tang Family.’

It was a rare moment for the three of them—and a first. They sat quietly on the cliff’s edge, watching the distant sun slowly set, its light replaced by silvery moonlight that washed over the land.

The three of them sat in silence, none of them speaking. In that moment, they all knew what the others were thinking. They had been through so much, but none of them had any regrets—especially not Lu Bingning and Lan Xi. Lin Yun might face even greater hardships and more perilous situations in the future, but they would always remain by his side. That was their greatest wish.
