Nysa got busy ’procreating’ and Adrian returned to the longhouse to give the woman some privacy. As always, tomorrow would be a busy day, but at least he was done working for the night.
"Oh, right... had to figure out these inventory expansion cards."
With a sigh, Adrian headed to the crafting table and put the card on it.
"Now we wait."
And wait he did, because the table had no reaction to the card. It meant that the card could not be crafted from scratch. It was something he could only get through rewards.
With nothing better to do, he used all the eleven cards to expand his inventory. Even after the expansion, there weren’t enough slots for him to open the celestial chest, whatever it was. It seemed he would have to truly empty his inventory to open it.
"Fuck it, I’ll deal with it tomorrow."
Sleep attacked him all at once. It seemed the adrenaline boost he got after seeing Nysa by the pond had left him drained of his energy. Now, he wanted to sleep more than ever.
Adrian dragged his tired body toward one of the empty rooms in the longhouse. His mind was already half-asleep as he pushed the door open.
Without bothering to look, he took a running jump and flopped face-first onto the bed, only to realize something felt off. Instead of the bed’s softness, he landed on something firm and warm.
"Uh... what is it?" he mumbled, pressing his hands down to get up, only to feel two button-like things pressing into his hands. "What the—!?"
He looked up to see Hannah staring back at him and then back at his hands that were pressing against her flat chest. Adrian followed her gaze and, instead of apologizing, he said the worst thing he possibly could have.
"...No wonder it felt hard as a chopping board."
Hannah’s face turned bright red from embarrassment, which, after hearing his comment, turned into rage.
"KYAAAHHH! PERVERT! GET OFF ME!"
Her shrill scream made everyone jump out of their beds and rush into her room before Adrian could even get off of her.
Mika was the first inside, already pointing her boy at him. Only after seeing it was him, did she lower the weapon.
"Male? What did the wanderer scream?" she asked, but seeing the state of their bed, she could understand what had happened.
Amika was the next to come in, and she came to the same conclusion as her sister. They had failed in their duty to tame his spear, and the male had gone to fulfill his desires elsewhere.
But then why did the wanderer scream? She should have been happy to be chosen by the male, as they considered it to be an honor.
Soon, the rest of them walked inside and froze at the sight.
Adrian was on top of Hannah. One of his hands was still resting squarely on her flat chest. Hannah was red-faced and furious, glaring daggers at him.
"Master, if you wanted some stress relief, these stress balls would have been much better, don’t you think?" Seraphine winked at him, making her breasts bounce.
At her words, Adrian pulled his hand back like he had grabbed a piece of burning coal.
"This... this is not what it looks like!" he protested, face burning from repeated embarrassments.
Once he was off her, Hannah sat up and hastily covered her chest with her arms.
"Stop doing that," Adrian rolled his eyes. "It’s not like there’s much—"
Before he could say anything worse, Seraphine smacked her hand on his lips.
"A boar must have hit his head," Seraphine urged, smiling nervously. "Don’t pay attention to his words... hehe. Will someone help me!?"
As she said that, the women lifted Adrian on his shoulders and carried him back to Amika’s bedroom.

The next morning...
"Kyahhh!"
Adrian woke up to another scream and jumped out of the window to get outside quicker. The girls were gathered near the pond, probably to rinse their mouths, when they came across Nysa.
"...right, I forgot to tell them about her," he mumbled, rubbing his tired eyes and walked to the pond. "Relax, that Nysa. She’ll be staying with us from now on."
He opened his eyes to see the women panicking. Instead, he saw them on the ground playing with the slimes.
Only Mika and Seraphine were standing on the side, watching the others. Huginn and Freki were by their side, watching the crazy women fawn over monsters.
The scream he had heard wasn’t out of fear, but because of the apparent cuteness of the slimes, something Adrian was immune to.
"So cute!" Hannah exclaimed, pressing a red slime against her face.
If only she knew what it was capable of, she wouldn’t have dared to touch it even with a pole, let alone press her face against it. Since they were in the burrows when Hannah arrived, it was her first time seeing them.
Nysa sat gracefully at the edge of the pond, calmly watching the women fawn over her smaller offspring. The tribeswomen, other than Mika, were on their knees in front of her.
"Guardian of Water..." Nixa whispered, bowing her head to Nysa.
"The gods have sent a protector for our pond!" Rixxa followed.
Meanwhile, Nysa watched the women with tilted heads in confusion. She could understand what they were doing, but she didn’t understand the purpose behind it.
She looked at Adrian as if hoping for an intervention. Instead, Adrian just rubbed his eyes, wondering what he should do with the superstitious bunch.
"I mean, they aren’t wrong at calling her their guardian," he mumbled, remembering that Nysa had taken care of the enemy tribe’s scout, even if she had done that unknowingly.
Since the girls were enjoying it, Adrian sat there and began combining the weapon cards he received from the settlement. After all, he had promised to get Mika a better weapon. Within seconds, he had another epic-grade weapon in hand.
