Of all the people and of all the sex clubs in New York City, tiny dick Drake stood before me with his jacket slung over one shoulder, his eyes wide in shock. They moved from my face to the rest of me then back up, slowly.

My bag strap slid down my shoulders. I raised my arms to adjust it as dread curled around my spine. Drake had a fucking big mouth. I had to play it off like it was no big deal or he was going to make a mess of things.

"I can’t believe you right now. You broke up with me because of an orgy," He gestured at the building around us. "And you’ve been coming here?"

"You piece of shit, I broke up with you because you were cheating on me!" I snarled, gritting my teeth. "In our bed, on Valentine’s Day, while mocking. You have to be on a whole new level of madness if you think this is the same thing,"

"It’s not?" He scoffed. "Who fucked you? Was it one of those men? You’re spreading your legs for anyone now-"

"Why not?" I shrugged, giving him a teasing grin, closing the gap between us. My fingers brushed lightly at his chest as I tilted my head back to look at him.

"It’s none of your business, is it? Besides, he fucks me better than you do. He knows just how well to pound pussy hard and deep, reaching places you could never reach with that pathetic wrinkled dick you fling around."

His face burned up, turning as red as a tomato. He sputtered and trembled, clenching his hands into fists. "You bit-"

"If you’re so interested, maybe I’ll take a video of him fucking my brains out, so you can see for yourself," With that I shoved him away from me and headed for the exit.

I had barely taken three steps though when he spoke up.

"I wonder what everyone at the company would say though."

My heels skidded to a stop for a second. Shit, not this. Not now.

"Especially that proud man that calls the shots," He scoffed behind me, clicking his tongue. "He can’t be too happy when I tell him his EA spends her weekends at a sex club."

Giving him a reaction would only give him more leverage over me. I held my head up high, turned sideways to flash him a smile before strutting out of the club.

The street outside was cold, people trooping in and out of the buildings around. Several cabs sat on the street and briskly, I made my way to one of them, trying to ignore the panic buzzing through me.

If Drake so much as breathed a word of this to Finn... Shit.

I pressed my fingers against my eyes once I got into the backseat.

He would connect it all. He wasn’t stupid.

My entire body began trembling. How would I keep Drake from talking?

"I look forward to your responses, gentlemen," Finnegan Wolfe said, closing his laptop. "Miss Kellerman?"

I pushed off the wall where I had been standing all through the meeting, taking notes and picked up his laptop. We had a very busy Monday. Right from the minute I walked into the office at eight thirteen this morning, there had been meetings, upon meetings, all over the state.

James had the car waiting at the building entrance, as we shuffled out of Dorian’s technologies. Wolfe and Dorian were likely to work on a project together for a self-driving vehicle.

The entire project was still under wraps and heavily guarded. I had only partial access to the database where it was stored. That’s how much of a secret it was.

I reached for the door to the passenger’s seat when my boss grunted as he slid in. "Back seat, Miss Kellerman. You need to brief me on our next meeting,"

My nerves had been jittery all morning after seeing him. I had missed him so much, I almost buried my face in his chest when handing him his coffee this morning. We still hadn’t talked about the kiss. I guess we would just have to keep pretending it never happened.

I got in the back, next to him and his strong manly scent immediately found me, reeling me in, making my nipples poke shamelessly against my bra. The car pulled into traffic and the city moved past the windows around us while I opened my tablet.

"The next meeting is with the company that recycles metal scraps from the manufacturing plants," I scrolled through the documents. "They had sent a bill last Friday,"

"Show me."

I leaned across to angle the tablet toward him. Wrongest move ever. Because he leaned in too.

The gap between us closed and his very solid shoulder brushed against mine. I tried, god, I tried so hard to think straight, tapping through the tablet and rushing my words so fast until I felt him lean closer, his face in my hair. He took a deep inhale and made a sound low in his throat.

My head tipped back and his face moved closer, dark emerald green pools hypnotizing me, darkening and reeling me in.

My lips parted slightly, for him, every inch of me begging for him to kiss me like he had in the storage room, devour me, fuck me.

The tablet slipped from my fingers and landed directly in his lap breaking the spell.

I snatched it back and moved to my side of the seat quickly, my face burning, my pulse hammering hard against my skin.

He cleared his throat, his eyes burning holes in my skin. My vision blurred as I read the words on the tablet screen over and over, before taking a deep breath in and resumed briefing him.

The rest of the afternoon was torture. I swear we kept accidentally touching each other. It drove me mad.

By the time James pulled up outside Wolfe Enterprises, I was soaking through my underwear.

"We’ll continue tomorrow. Send me my schedule," His jaw clenched as he spoke, staying straight ahead.

"Yes sir," I rushed out and hauled my ass out of the car as fast as my heels could carry. It was already the close of work, some minutes past five and I should be heading to my car instead of the office.

But I had something else to do. Inside the lobby, I strutted past the moving employees to the elevator and pressed the button for the PR department floor instead.
