He had to tell them what kind of problem he was having and inform them to the best of his ability what level of danger would be waiting for them. if they came. The problem was that he didn't know exactly how powerful the enemies were. He couldn't provide a full picture, so many of the vampires rejected him quickly.

Some were willing to come over because of their pride, ignorance, or stupidity or because of greed. These were the four main reasons why the vampires who didn't reject him decided to negotiate with him.

The proud ones didn't want to admit that they were afraid of humans. The ignorant ones didn't know that there was anything to be afraid of. The stupid ones knew that they should be afraid, but they thought that they were strong enough and didn't need to be afraid.

Fortunately, the ones who were interested in his proposal because of these three reasons were the minority. Most of the vampires were interested because they had heard of how humans were delicious and wanted to have a taste of the humans to see if that was true or not.

There were even some primordial vampires who have indeed tasted humans before. These were the ones who didn't think twice about the decision. They were willing to come as long as there was no true god around to kill them.

After the primordial vampires expressed their interest to come, he still had to negotiate terms and conditions for them. He had to make certain promises, such as the promise not to kill them and use them as bait.

He also had to set the percentage of blood he would get from them as tax for bringing them to this world to feed. This was a serious point of contention in their negotiations.

He didn't want to give up his benefits even if his situation in Umbra was currently precarious. He was doing them a favor, so he wanted to get paid for it. But they didn't think so.

They thought they were the ones doing him a favor, so he should not ask much of them. In fact, they would like it for him to not ask anything of them or even give them something for their work.

They had to haggle, which led to some insults. Names were called, and fighting prowess was disparaged. It was a bloody exchange of words.

He had to negotiate with each vampire individually. This took time, and it took a lot of time for him to speak with all the primordial vampires he reached out to.

Sometimes, the negotiations ended badly. So his time and energy were wasted. He had to start over with another vampire.

It was a tedious process. He had to talk and maintain the blood labyrinth at the same time. It put him in a very bad mood. It also made him glad that he had decided to do this now instead of waiting for his enemies to knock on his door.

Primordial vampires are supposed to be siblings since they were born from the same single parent, but they don't like each other at all. If they have the chance, they will kill each other.

They will kill each other not because there is some benefit to be gained from it. They will kill each just for the fun of it.

Of course, the fact that killing each won't lead to permanent death. But the deaths will still lead to a total loss of power and a need to start growing up from their weakest state.

The primordial vampires might also interfere with his plan to become a true god. So he is not completely happy about bringing them to this world.

Of course, it is because he doesn't like them that he is willing to bring them to Umbra so that they can share the danger with him and maybe even die for him.

So the bad things and the good things are together. If he had a choice, he wouldn't summon them. But he doesn't have a choice.

When he was done with the negotiation, he would summon the vampire. This process took two weeks.

In those two weeks, he managed to summon eight primordial vampires. The eight of them ranged in strength. Only two of them were demigods like him. The rest were still mortals.

All nine of them began to work together to deal with the humans. The first thing they did was try to acquire information.

Usually, this was very easy for vampires to do. They would just find someone and convert that person into a lesser vampire. Then they would command the person to tell them all that they know.

In some cases, the person would be their guide and helper in dismantling the person's race. It was always easy for them to acquire information that way.

Unfortunately, they can't do that to soldiers in the army. They might be successful with this if they do so to a normal human. But every soldier that they have tried it with always dies.

They can try capturing a soldier and torturing them for information. But they have learned that doing this will always bring down the might of the whole army on them.

So they didn't attempt to go through the humans for information on them. They decided to convert the Kunuts and use them to help gather information about the humans.

Meanwhile, the human army had just finished scouting their surroundings. After collecting updated data about their immediate surroundings and using it to create a map, they began to set up their base.

The Yggdrasil civilization army didn't rush to scout the whole planet because it was too large and dangerous to do so. They would need to scatter their troops across the planet, which will open them to being ambushed by their enemies.

After all, they haven't fought their enemies yet. It wasn't like the Lignum world, where the leaders of the world gathered their troops to fight the Yggdrasil civilization.
