Kelvin muttered uncertainly, "Either it is dead or it has become free. I hope it is the former. I hope I didn’t just steal the control over it."

Wrath said, "I think it is dead."

He didn’t take her word for it. He decided to be sure, so he destroyed the body of the vampire. There was no resistance, but it wasn’t easy to do. It was because the body of the vampire had become as hard as a rock.
