A countdown appeared in the white world. On it was the amount of time he had until he had to go to war.

He was given a shorter time to prepare compared to his last military expedition. But he wasn't concerned about it.

He smiled when he saw this and said, "At least I don't have to read the military codex again."

Strings of bubbles containing information about the Umbra world appeared before him. He got to work reading them immediately.

While he was busy preparing for the foreign battlefield, Icon was busy being hunted and hunting him.

Actually, Icon was mostly being hunted and was running. He was only hunting Kelvin passively and was trying to get away from the person hunting as soon as possible.

He was flying through the air while a naked white figure chased after him. Wherever the white figure passed, the air froze.

Icon frowned in anger. He really didn't want to fight her. But she was chasing him doggedly.

She can't catch him. But if she continues to chase him like this, she will draw attention to herself, which will draw unwanted attention to him.

He didn't want that and has tried to reason with her. But she refused to give up.

Icon stopped running and produced many puppets around him. One puppet created an illusion while another one created a spatial maze.

The illusion was supposed to fool the demigod, but it didn't affect her at all. It was an alpha ability that depends heavily on the power rating for its effect.

Since the demigod was too powerful, the alpha ability was useless against her. Only the spatial maze created with an omega ability had an effect on her.

The spatial maze works by twisting space into circles and dead ends. It is invisible, but anyone who enters it will only go around in circles.

The spatial maze is nearly unavoidable because it is invisible. It is also like a barrier between someone's goal. So as long as someone wants to reach a goal, they will have to contend with the spatial maze.

She sneered when she saw the third puppet. She said in ridicule, "You even brought out Sun Beam against me. I totally deserve it."

"Sun Beam had called you a liar back then and was antagonizing you. We had helped you defeat him and turned him into a puppet for you to use. Now you're using him against me after you did the thing that Sun Beam said you would do."

"How foolish we were. We were foolish to have faith in you. We should have believed in Raijin instead. You were a wolf in sheep's clothing."

Icon didn't listen to her. He couldn't let himself be distracted for one moment at all.

He was delaying her to buy time for this ability. He would have wanted to spend more time delaying her, but he sensed that another demigod was coming, so he detonated the puppet immediately.

He made the puppet rush towards the demigod and explode in her face. Space cracked like glass after the explosion.

The explosion itself was silent. But its effects were deadly.

The cracks in space spread out quickly. They cut up anything they encountered in their way into shreds.

The demigod rushed back to avoid the explosion. But she was too close, so she couldn't avoid it.

She created an explosion of cold wind to block the spatial cracks. But it only slowed down the spread of the cracks. She was still hit by it.

Her explosion created a snowstorm on top of the ocean where they were fighting. When the snowstorm calmed down, Icon and the demigod were no more.

Icon had disappeared with teleportation. As for the demigod, half of her body had been destroyed. So she had rushed into the water to hide.

The demigod that was attracted by the fight came to the scene and found no one.

This demigod is naked, so their smooth and cracked skin was visible. From those cracks, an empty cavity containing a bright light can be seen.

The demigod had green hair and glowing green eyes. The green light from their eyes scanned the area many times.
