He wanted to give up on life and commit suicide then and there. But the god had such a grip on his mind that he couldn’t think of anything apart from pain.

Wrath was shouting beside him, but he didn’t hear it. The god heard what she was saying, but he didn’t listen to her. He ignored her and didn’t stop going through his mind. Wrath’s shouts about the process hurting Kelvin’s mind didn’t faze the god at all.

She had no right to command him. Besides, he wasn’t blind. He could see that Kelvin was in pain. Her stating the obvious wouldn’t change its mind.

The god finally finished with his mind. It felt like forever, but the mental violation didn’t go on for up to five seconds.

The god left his mind when it was done. Kelvin’s whole body relaxed because of it. But it began to tense up again when the god continued to struggle to come out of the abyss that it had created in space.

The crack in space expanded and became bigger as the god roared. It sounded like a wild beast trapped in a cage. Its voice sounded like the roar of a lion at first. But then it turned into that of a dog. Next it turned into the roar of a bear.

The sounds were constantly changing, but the anger and indignation in the roar were constant. The god was also constantly cursing. His strange language battered their minds as it worked to understand what the god had said.

They had no choice in the matter. The god had spoken, so they must hear what it said, and they must understand it. However, the repercussions of translating the voice of the anger of a god will be borne by them.
