The explosion lasted for nearly ten seconds. When it was over, everyone could finally see a tiny spark giving off its final radiance. They didn’t know what had happened exactly, but they knew that regardless of what had happened, a demigod had just died.

Kelvin saw more than what they saw, but even he was confused.

As he said that, he noticed that nothing else had happened for a few minutes. It seemed that the elves had given up and had no intention of antagonizing the human army for the moment.
