The demigod muttered to himself, "There is a lot of cold wind and ice. I know who this is. But there are traces of too many other abilities, none of them at the demigod level except for the spatial cracks."

"Did she fight a group of mortals? But which group of mortals would have the power to contend with her?"

"Besides, where is the body of the mortals she fought? She had to at least have killed one of them, right? Yet, I see no corpses."

There were so many questions, but very few answers.

It made the demigod be perplexed as he asked, "What could they be fighting for anyway?"

As soon as he asked this, he already had a suspicion. There is only one reason why demigods have been fighting each other on Earth-11. That one thing is the many rings. that make up the weave of destiny of Earth-11.

This is why he came to intervene in the fight. He wanted to take advantage of the two fighters and take whatever ring they were fighting about for himself.

Unfortunately, it seems he came too late. The fighters have already left.

He said to himself, "I am too slow and unstealthy compared to other demigods. I guess I will have to make it up by coming earlier next time they fight."

Then the demigod looked around for a while before leaving.

Icon appeared in his hideout. It was a cave within a mountain.

It was practically empty. There was only a stool it the cave which he is currently sitting on.

He was a little exhausted because of the energy required to create the spatial cracks and because many of his puppets had been destroyed in that fight.

He was also unhappy because he hadn't managed to kill that demigod.

He sighed and said, "What a waste of time and energy."

He regrets having that fight very much. Not only did the fight fail to stop that demigod, but it also drew more attention to him. So there will be at least two demigods paying attention to him from now on, not just one.

As he groaned, he took out his puppet with the invulnerable body. This puppet had also been injured.

There were cracks all over its body. Apparently, its invulnerability was overwhelmed by the storm of spatial cracks exploding very close to it.

He shook his head when he looked at the damage the puppet had incurred. It is damage that would have been worth it if he had been given time to finish that.

If given time, he was sure that he could kill her. If he had achieved that, he would be able to get her divine spark and become a demigod again.

It is a good prospect, but it is obviously difficult. He would have preferred to get back his divine spark from Kelvin. That would have been easier and quieter.

That's why he didn't want to fight her even though he could kill her and get a divine spark from her. But she forced his hand, so he decided to give it his all.

He wanted to turn a bad situation into a good one. He wanted to make lemonade out of lemons.

With the power of a demigod, he wouldn't need to be so afraid of drawing attention as he was. But that all went up in smoke when he fought her and failed to kill her.

"Now that I have drawn Manhattan's attention. What else is there to do?"

"And where the hell is Kelvin? Where is he hiding? Has he left Earth and gone to the foreign battlefield?"

If Kelvin has gone to the foreign battlefield, he can only give up on hunting him for a while. He doesn't dare to go and get Kelvin even if he knows which place Kelvin has been dispatched to.

Not even a true god dares to do something like interfering in the military affairs of the Yggdrasil civilization. Such an act is an act of treason, which is punishable by death and more.

But short of the foreign battlefield, he has no other idea why he can't sense Kelvin or where Kelvin could have gone to hide from him.

Actually, he has one place in mind that Kelvin can go to hide from him, but he doesn't think that Kelvin is powerful enough to reach it.

From his knowledge, even if Kelvin finds the core of the world, he would need to be a true god for him to bypass the spatial barrier without being ripped apart.

So there is nothing he can do to find Kelvin that he hasn't already done. What else he can do is complain.

He complained and then complained some more. Then he used his phone to contact the investigator that he hired.

He said grumpily, "Tell me you have good news."

The person replied, "I don't know if what I have is good news."

Her voice was that of a lady.

Icon frowned and said, "Just tell me what you have then."

"I can confirm that he is still on Earth-11. He just finished his advancement game and successfully advanced to the expert league. But I am not sure he will remain on earth for long."

"According to my analysis of his behavior, he is likely to sign up for the foreign battlefield. soon. So he will remain on earth for a period of one month to three months before leaving."

"We will be able to confirm this if he participates in a new game in a month's time. If he doesn't, he is either dead or has gone to the foreign battlefield."

Icon thought about it and said, "It is not bad news. But it is not good news either. What about that thing I asked you to do?"

The lady over the replied, "He decided to set up the fan group. But I don't think it will work. He is smart and suspicious, so I don't think he will meet a group of strangers no matter what they say."

He said sternly, "I didn't hire you to ask for your opinion. I hired you to do something for me. So just stick with doing your job."

"Don't worry about the fan group not working. Just focus on making it as big as possible. I will give you all the money you need."

She said, "Pardon me for asking. But what is the plan here? I would like to know so as to be able to streamline the process. I don't see how making a fan group will help catching him. If anything, it will only make him stronger."

Icon frowned again and said, "What did I just say about not needing your thoughts and opinions? Just do your job."

He said that and cut the phone call.

He complained and said, "These useless mortals who don't know how to mind their business."

He is the one behind the lady that helped Kelvin with the guide for his game and the creation of his fan group. She is just his lackey, but she has a point that a fan group is unlikely to bring Kelvin out of his hiding.

But he has a plan. He plans to build a large group with connections to Augustus. It is best if that group has been publicly endorsed by him in one way or another.

Then he will have that group begin to piss people off and create enemies for Kelvin. This will turn Kelvin's popularity into a weapon of defamation.

Kelvin will have to come out to quell the group in order to end the creation of enemies and hatred for him. He will be waiting for that moment and will nab Kelvin.

It is true that Kelvin won't be lured out by a fan group, but that might not be so with a hate group related to him. He is like a spider weaving a web meant to trap Kelvin.

In fact, he is counting on Kelvin being hands-off on the matters of the fan group. That way, it will be easy for the fan group to go out of control.

He will fan the flames further by finding someone to pretend to be Augustus. He will use Augustus's identity to coerce the fan group into turning into a terrorist group.

Kelvin will have to show up to clear up the issue. If he doesn't, Icon would have succeeded in creating enemies for him and creating a bad image for him. With a bad image, Kelvin will find it difficult to gain fans, and heroes will gang up on him in the games.

As Icon thought about his plan, his mood improved. He chuckled to himself and said, "Since you don't want to come out, I will smoke you out. You either come out from your burrow or choke to death slowly."

He has realized that he has to be smart about this matter now that Kelvin is hell-bent on hiding and his hunt is drawing attention to himself.
