All the adult females, including Jiang Zheyu—the one they had found—had finished their Fertility Value tests.

The females with high Fertility Values were all surrounded by Male Beastmen.

The females with low Fertility Values, on the other hand, looked particularly miserable. No one was stopping for them.

Jiang Zheyu noticed the female beside her was gradually turning pale.

"Hey, didn’t you find a Beastman before the Fertility Value test?" Jiang Zheyu poked the female beside her. "That way, you wouldn’t have to go into the Female Cave."

The female glared at her and snapped, "If I could’ve found one, would I still be standing here?"

Jiang Zheyu sighed softly.

She’d originally thought it was a matter of nutrition. If a female’s nutrition was adequate, her Fertility Value should improve.

But now she realized it was probably due to one’s constitution. While nutrition was a factor, some were just naturally fertile while others weren’t. She, for instance, wasn’t lacking for nutrition, but she clearly had an infertile constitution.

’I can always earn more points by healing Beastmen after I find Shan Xun and get out of here,’ Jiang Zheyu thought, deciding to buy it later.

But then she saw a refresh countdown timer in the top-right corner of the item’s listing.

"System, what does this refresh countdown mean?" A bad feeling crept over Jiang Zheyu. "Don’t tell me this Zerg Queen Detector will disappear after the refresh."

"That’s right, Host," the System replied cheerfully. "It might be gone after the next refresh, or it might come back the one after that."

Jiang Zheyu couldn’t shake the feeling that this was all a conspiracy to make her spend her points right now.

’But I don’t dare risk it. What if it isn’t there next time? Or the time after that? The Zerg Race is already running rampant, and the Zerg Mother has awakened.’

And so, with a pained heart, Jiang Zheyu bought the Zerg Queen Detector.

Now, she was left with only 100 points to her name.

Jiang Zheyu followed Yin Ji back to the earthen hut.

"I’m going out to hunt. Wait for me here at home," Yin Ji said, patting Jiang Zheyu’s head.

Jiang Zheyu had no choice but to nod. "Okay."

After Yin Ji left, Jiang Zheyu started fiddling with the Zerg Queen Detector.

The moment she activated the Zerg Queen Detector, she saw that its display showed the Zerg Mother’s location was on this very planet.

From a distance, she saw a female sitting perched on the broad shoulders of a Male Beastman, her legs crossed. Several other Male Beastmen in front of them seemed to be carrying something, but they were surrounded by a crowd of females and Male Beastmen, so Jiang Zheyu couldn’t get a clear look.

As the group moved forward, the surrounding crowd of Male Beastmen and females moved with them.

Jiang Zheyu was curious, but she didn’t know these tribe members well and didn’t dare to approach them uninvited.
