"Master, would you like to have a feel?" Jiang Yi asked, lowering his gaze to look at her, his eyes crinkling with a smile.

"No, thank you." Jiang Zheyu turned her head away. "I’m going to finish my breakfast."

"Then how about a feel tonight, Master?" Jiang Yi’s voice was laced with amusement.

Jiang Zheyu nearly choked on her food and broke into a fit of violent coughing. Jiang Yi gently rubbed her back. "Master, why so excited?"

Her cheeks flushed as she realized he had turned the tables and was now flirting with her.

"I am not excited." Once Jiang Zheyu composed herself, a faint blush still colored her cheeks.

Her delicate, porcelain-white face was dusted with a light pink, making her look exceptionally beautiful and alluring.

"Right, you’re not," Jiang Yi chuckled softly.

"Alright, alright. I’m going to concentrate on my breakfast," Jiang Zheyu said quickly.

’I really shouldn’t flirt with people so casually.’

"Master, I saw you approved my Beast Husband application." Jiang Yi looped an arm around Jiang Zheyu’s waist, lifted her, then sat in the chair himself, settling her onto his lap. He leaned in, pressing his head gently against her neck. "Jiang Yi is so happy."

"Mm-hm." Jiang Zheyu only offered a faint smile.

And so, Jiang Zheyu finished her breakfast while sitting on Jiang Yi’s lap.

Soon, it was time for Jiang Zheyu to go to court and testify against Hui.

Backstage before the hearing, Jiang Yi stayed by her side.

She hadn’t even entered the courtroom when Yan Luo found her. "Jiang Zheyu, what will it take for you to let Hui go?"

Jiang Zheyu’s expression was serene. "I won’t let him go. Let him rot in a prison cell."

"Master, it’s time for court," Jiang Yi said, taking her hand and leading her out.

Yan Luo quickly moved to stand directly in front of Jiang Zheyu, blocking her path. Her gaze was icy. "If I apologize to you, will you let Hui go?"

Jiang Zheyu paused, her brow furrowing slightly. "What makes you think that?"

She stopped for a moment before continuing, "He tried to harm me. I won’t let him go, no matter what you do."

With that, Jiang Zheyu walked straight past Yan Luo.

After the trial, Jiang Zheyu testified to all the crimes Hui had committed against her.

Unsurprisingly, Hui was thrown in prison to be punished.

"Jiang Zheyu, I’ll remember you," Yan Luo said, shooting her a vicious glare before leaving.

Jiang Zheyu was speechless.

"Remember me if you want," Jiang Zheyu said, completely unafraid.

’After everything I’ve been through, what is there to fear? I, Jiang Zheyu, am afraid of nothing anymore.’

Jiang Zheyu returned to the palace. Finally, she could have some peace and quiet.

She could live out her last two-or-so months in peace.

For the past few days, Jiang Zheyu no longer had to live in fear at night. She could finally sleep soundly.

The only thing was, Jiang Yi had taken to slipping into her bed every night.

"Master, I want to kiss you." Jiang Yi lowered his head, his own trembling slightly as he kissed her cheek, then her lips.

The blanket was pulled over their heads. In the hazy darkness, Jiang Zheyu could only make out Jiang Yi’s familiar silhouette.

He braced himself on his arms, one on either side of her.

The very air seemed to thin and grow scorching hot.

A rustle of fabric came from under the covers as his searing breath drew nearer.

Finally, he kissed the lips he had longed for day and night.

It was Jiang Zheyu’s first time kissing a Biorobot.

’It’s not really any different,’ she found herself thinking, ’aside from this strange feeling I have about it.’

Jiang Zheyu’s hand slid down from his lean waist until she found a fluffy, round rabbit tail.

Rabbit tails weren’t actually pom-poms; they would uncoil and lengthen if pulled, but they naturally stayed curled up.

Jiang Zheyu gave the curled-up, fluffy tail a gentle tug.

She felt the muscles of the man beside her tighten instantly.

"Master, I love you," Jiang Yi murmured.

The thin blanket slid down the man’s broad, well-defined back.

Moonlight spilled into the room, making the curtains dance in the breeze.

In a daze, Jiang Zheyu saw him: a man with broad shoulders, a narrow waist, and an eight-pack, but his pink hair was crowned with two pink rabbit ears.

A stark contrast to his powerful, chiseled arms.

A bead of sweat trickled down his handsome face, over his sharp jawline, and finally dropped onto Jiang Zheyu’s skin.

「The next day」

Jiang Zheyu slowly ambled over to take another bath.

She recalled how, in the bathroom last night, Jiang Yi had been particularly fond of her back, planting soft, searing kisses all along her spine and shoulder blades.

Jiang Zheyu fell silent for a moment. ’Everyone seems to have their own... preferences.’

Then it hit her. If Jiang Yi was her butler, Xiaoyi, didn’t that mean he’d already seen her naked countless times before?

Jiang Zheyu flushed with a mix of shame and anger. ’AAAHHHH! That Jiang Yi!’

’And all this time, he was pretending to be a normal robot butler!’

Jiang Zheyu decided to give him the cold shoulder for a while. It was absolutely, definitely not because her back was sore and her legs ached.

After she finished getting ready, she walked downstairs and was met with the sound of a heated argument.

"Who the hell are you?" Feng Qi demanded, his brows furrowed fiercely. "Who said you could be here?"

Jiang Yi was still in his apron; he had clearly stopped cooking to answer the door.

"Hello. I am Master Yu Yu’s new Beast Husband," Jiang Yi said calmly, extending a hand.

Feng Qi had rushed back without even changing out of his combat uniform. He never expected to find another man here, and he was instantly consumed by jealousy.

The thought that she had let some other man sneak in and take advantage of his absence sent waves of frustrated anger through him.

"Get lost." Instead of shaking Jiang Yi’s hand, Feng Qi slapped it away and shoved past his shoulder, striding coldly into the house.

He saw Jiang Zheyu coming down the stairs and jogged over to her. The icy mask on his face melted instantly, replaced by a bright yet aggrieved smile. "Jiang Yuyu, who is he? I called you, but you didn’t pick up. I texted you, and you took forever to write back! Don’t you love me anymore? Is it because of that stray man?"

Feng Qi threw his arms around Jiang Zheyu and squished her cheeks between his hands.

"You’re back!" Jiang Zheyu’s face lit up with pleasant surprise.

"Mhm." Feng Qi grinned, cupped her face, and planted several hard kisses on her.

"MWAH, MWAH, MWAH..."

Jiang Zheyu was taken aback for a second before she smiled helplessly and urged, "You just got back, go get cleaned up."

But Feng Qi gripped her hand and glared at Jiang Yi, who was walking over. "Who is he?"

"Ahem... a new Beast Husband," Jiang Zheyu said with a faint smile.

"Jiang Yuyu, don’t you love me anymore?" Feng Qi whined, giving her a wounded look. He bent his tall frame down and nuzzled his head against her neck.

"I do, I do, I do! Now quick, go take a shower," Jiang Zheyu said, pushing at him.

"Fine," Feng Qi replied obediently, but the look he shot Jiang Yi was full of ice and warning.

Jiang Yi, of course, noticed. He simply responded with a harmless-looking smile.
