Jiang Zheyu was enveloped by a huge, scorching body, the heat washing over her from above.

The fox lowered its head and bit down on her leg, enclosing her calf in its mouth as a warm sensation slid over her skin.

Her leg, held in his mouth, was lifted slightly.

The silk nightgown slipped down.

Jiang Zheyu propped herself up on the bed with her hands, trying to sit up. "Zexun, what are you doing?"

She tugged at her leg, but couldn’t pull it out of his fox mouth.

"A Yu, I’m so hot..." Zexun changed back into his human form and slowly kissed Jiang Zheyu’s lips.

Jiang Zheyu realized what was happening. She stiffened for a moment, but then slowly wrapped her arms around Zexun’s neck.

’So that’s why he was burning up?’

The wind swept in through the floor-to-ceiling windows, gently stirring the curtains and sending ripples through the fabric.

When morning came, Zexun carried Jiang Zheyu to wash up again. After helping her finish, he dried her off and helped her get dressed.

Zexun quickly carried her back to the room and kissed her forehead. "I’m going to go wash up now, too."

"Okay," Jiang Zheyu replied.

Her eyes were half-open, still feeling sleepy. It slowly dawned on her that Zexun had just tended to her every need—bathing her, brushing her teeth, washing her face, and dressing her. She silently covered her face. ’I feel like someone who can’t even take care of herself now.’

"Thanks for your hard work, Jiang Yi." Jiang Zheyu quietly took Jiang Yi’s hand. "Mm, let’s go down."

After going downstairs, Jiang Zheyu smelled something burning and heard some noises coming from the kitchen.

She looked toward the kitchen in surprise. "Jiang Yi, was the stove left on? I smell something burning."

Jiang Yi also raised an eyebrow toward the kitchen, a cold, mocking smile touching his lips. "Someone wanted to make you breakfast. It seems they failed."

Just then, thick smoke billowed out of the kitchen.

Feng Qi emerged from the thick smoke, coughing as he came out. He looked up and immediately met Jiang Zheyu’s gaze.

His violent coughing stopped for a second, but then he couldn’t help but start coughing again, though this time more slowly.

His handsome face was stained with soot.

He wiped his face. "Looks like the kitchen and I don’t get along."

"Feng Qi?" Jiang Zheyu paused, looking at him.

"Alright," Jiang Zheyu said with a smile, reaching out with both hands to cup Jiang Yi’s face.

She turned his face toward her.

Then, to Jiang Yi’s stunned surprise, she gave him four quick kisses.

One on his left cheek, one on his right, one on his forehead, and one on his lips.

Jiang Zheyu gave a mischievous smile. "There, reward delivered."

Jiang Yi had only wanted one kiss, but Jiang Zheyu gave him four.

His chip started to overheat again.

Jiang Yi unconsciously licked his lips. The soft touch from a moment ago sent a shiver through his entire body, as if all the wires inside him had short-circuited.

He liked his Master so much, his Master Yu Yu.

Zexun came downstairs and saw this scene. Jealousy sprouted like dark mushrooms in his heart, yet his gorgeous, bewitching face showed no sign of his inner turmoil.

He walked to Jiang Zheyu’s side, deliberately wearing a pink shirt with an open collar that clearly revealed a bloody bite mark on his neck.
