"You should all be familiar with this Beastman," the man said as he pushed open the door and walked in. "He’s pretty popular on both the Star Network and the Dark Web."

Jiang Zheyu distractedly followed him inside.

’Life is hard. I can only take it one step at a time and see if there’s any chance to escape.’

Soon, the man led them into an elevator and up to the seventeenth floor. The building had twenty-five floors in total, and each floor had numerous doors, indicating that many Beastmen were livestreaming inside.

They stopped at a room on the seventeenth floor, by a window.

The man puffed on his e-cigarette as he walked to room 1701. He unlocked it with his fingerprint and pushed the door open. He didn’t rush in. Instead, he looked at Jiang Zheyu and the other four Beastmen and said slowly, "All of you, get in."

The door opened. Before Jiang Zheyu could even step inside, she heard a mix of sensual music drifting out, along with a youth’s breathy voice hitting an impossibly high note: "Thank you to my Sister Xianxian for the Hongying Mecha! Thank you, Sister Xianxian! Whatever dance you want to see, I’ll perform it for you!"

For some reason, Jiang Zheyu found the voice a little familiar.

The four Beastmen in front of her went in. Jiang Zheyu was moving slowly, and just as she was about to enter, the man beside her placed a hand on her shoulder. "You’re new?"

Jiang Zheyu remembered that newcomers were sent away for "training," so she quickly turned her head and explained, "Team Leader, you don’t have to worry. Even though I’m new, I know a bit about livestreaming on the Star Network. I’ll get the hang of it quickly." It was the truth, too.

"Tch." The man sneered. "You’re good-looking. As long as you can hook any rich female or male on the Star Network, you won’t have to worry about not meeting your daily quota. For now, watch and learn. See how he pleases the top patrons."

The man had said he’d chosen Jiang Zheyu on purpose, but that wasn’t entirely the case. In his eyes, the Male Beastman form Jiang Zheyu had taken was that of an exceptionally stunning youth. He had clean, tea-colored eyes, yet his face was intensely beautiful—a mix of innocence and seduction. He was sure some big-shot patrons would love this type.

Jiang Zheyu quickly nodded. She hadn’t yet seen what she looked like in her Male Beastman form, but judging by the man’s words, she was probably quite good-looking.

"Work hard. If you don’t meet your quota, I’ll throw you right back where you came from." Although the man was smiling, his words were laced with threat.

Cold sweat trickled down Jiang Zheyu’s back, and she quickly agreed.

Only then did the man release her shoulder, and Jiang Zheyu quietly walked inside.

He closed the door and came to stand beside her.

When Jiang Zheyu looked up and saw the white tiger youth, the feeling of familiarity finally clicked into place.

’All right, it really is him.’

On the Star Network, his name was Ah Bai. It seemed he’d been called that so often that no one remembered his real name anymore.

Not that anyone seemed to care what his real name was, anyway.

So, Jiang Zheyu didn’t know the white tiger youth’s name, only that he was called Ah Bai.

This morning’s stream seemed to be a normal one. Ah Bai was dressed plainly enough, with a white gauze shirt and black pants underneath, just vaguely pushing the boundaries.

He would occasionally lift his shirt, stroke his Adam’s apple and neck, and dance provocatively without stopping.

He had already noticed the man bringing people in.

But, as if it were a familiar sight, he wasn’t surprised and didn’t pause for a second, continuing to interact with the females in his stream.

The man standing next to Jiang Zheyu constantly puffed out clouds of vapor.

Jiang Zheyu was forced to inhale the secondhand vapor. It became increasingly acrid, and though she had been holding it in, she finally couldn’t stop herself from coughing. If she had let out a small cough when she first inhaled it, it might have helped. But she had suppressed it for so long that when it finally burst out, it was a fit of violent coughing. "COUGH, COUGH, COUGH, COUGH...!"

The few people around her all turned to look.

Ah Bai, who was still streaming his dance, seemed unaffected. His broadcast was set to only capture his own voice, not any other background sounds, so he remained completely focused on his stream.

After her coughing subsided, Jiang Zheyu could feel the man beside her staring at her.

She quietly turned her head to the man. "Um, I’m sorry."

"Can’t handle smoke?" the man asked casually, not stopping his vaping as he spoke.

What could Jiang Zheyu say? Nothing. She just gave a dry laugh.

"Alright, your streamer is about to sign off," Ah Bai announced, stopping his dance. "Goodbye, Sister Xianxian! Goodbye, Sister Lanlan... See you all tomorrow at the same time!"

After Ah Bai ended the stream, the youth’s cool, charming smile instantly vanished.

He was steaming from dancing all morning, his forehead slick with sweat. Grabbing a bottle of water, he started drinking as he walked over.

"Brother Xiang, are these the new recruits?" Ah Bai’s gaze swept over Jiang Zheyu and the others, pausing for a moment on Jiang Zheyu. A sense of crisis rose within him.

"Yeah, I’m letting them see how a veteran does it, so they can learn a thing or two." The man smiled. "You must have earned a lot again this morning, Ah Bai. The performance of our Star Network solo streaming group rests entirely on your shoulders."

"It’s all thanks to Brother Xiang’s excellent guidance," Ah Bai said, returning the man’s smile with a fake one of his own.

"But to surpass the Erotica Division and become number one, we’ll need to promote a few more heavy hitters," Xiang Wei said with a smile.

"Indeed," Ah Bai simply agreed.

"You have another stream tonight, don’t you? You should go rest. Go on, I’ll take them to check out the other streaming rooms," Xiang Wei said, patting Ah Bai’s shoulder.

"Okay, take care, Brother Xiang," Ah Bai replied with a smile and a nod.

Xiang Wei walked out, and Jiang Zheyu and the others followed.

Sigh...

Jiang Zheyu never thought she would meet the suggestive Beastman streamer the original owner of her body used to like under these circumstances.

Words failed her.
