Hovercars zipped through the sky, others streaking past them like beams of light. The heavens were a brilliant, dusky gold.

The dusky sun was setting on the distant horizon, casting fragmented light through the window. Beneath the sunset stood thousands of futuristic skyscrapers, jutting up from the ground.

Jiang Zheyu placed her palm on the window, gazing at the scenery outside.

She and Zexun were in a Hovercar, on their way to the Observatory Tower.

Her security detail followed behind in another Hovercar.

"Miss Jiang, do you like sunsets?" Zexun, who was sitting across from her, also pressed his palm against the window on his side. He looked at her, his shimmering red eyes seemingly dyed a warm orange by the setting sun’s afterglow, making them appear both gorgeous and warm.

Jiang Zheyu turned to look at him, her gaze falling into the man’s beautiful, passionate, and gentle red-orange eyes.

Both of their palms were pressed against the glass. It seemed that if either of them moved just slightly, their fingers would gently touch.

They sat facing each other, their faces incredibly close. The sunset’s afterglow streamed through the window, bathing their features in a warm hue. From time to time, a passing Hovercar would streak by, sending silvery lines of light and shadow dancing across his stunningly beautiful face.

Jiang Zheyu had to admit that in this moment, Zexun wasn’t just gorgeous—the fragmented red-orange light of the atmosphere made him so ethereally beautiful he hardly seemed real.

She hurriedly turned and opened the door to get out.

He led Jiang Zheyu to a soft chair, then walked over to the piano himself. He tilted his head slightly to look at her, his features gentle as water, his red eyes burning with passion. "I’ve played many instruments since I was a child. If Miss Jiang doesn’t mind, while we wait for the meteors, I’d like to play a piece for you."

"Okay." Jiang Zheyu sat down, feeling quite nervous.

’Zexun went to so much trouble with these arrangements. It’s really easy to guess what’s going to happen next.’

A light, ethereal melody flowed from Zexun’s fingertips.

Jiang Zheyu’s mood gradually began to relax as she watched Zexun, his gaze lowered, earnestly playing the piano.

The Observatory Tower was very, very high. The wind was a bit chilly, and the night sky was filled with stars.

The man played the piano against a backdrop of the starry sky, the wind gently tousling his black hair.
