Within the pure white space, a massive black python lay coiled in the distance. The black mist still shrouded it, and within that dark fog, a pair of vertical red pupils was exceptionally distinct.

Seeing this great snake, Jiang Zheyu couldn’t help it—her heart raced, her mind tensed, her scalp prickled, and her limbs grew cold.

In the outside world, Su Yan easily saw the young woman’s face turn pale, her long lashes trembling violently in distress. His lips tightened imperceptibly, a flicker of restless irritation passing through his red eyes.

The giant snake completely enveloped Jiang Zheyu’s wisp of Spiritual Touch Silk within the coils of its long tail. Lowering its massive head, it flicked out its bright red, forked tongue, repeatedly licking that single strand of silk from end to end.

The moment she spoke, she realized her voice had become soft and weak.
