While Naomi was busy thinking about how she can get revenge for what Fely did to her, Fely on the other hand was fuming and was restless in her room with her husband. 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢

"Let it go. It’s not good for your increased blood pressure if you let anger prevail at heart. You are a better person than her,just take the high road and be the bigger person. Do not lower down to her level," Jessie said, trying his best to calm his dear wife

"I know honey, but I really can’t stop myself from being annoyed when Naomi’s around. She should be worried about her mother and son that’s in the hospital, but she still has time to insult our family and boss us around." Fely snarled as she was preparing to go to bed.

Jessie approached his wife and hugged her very tightly. "Alright, just share your worries with the Lord, and always think about how kind our son-in-law and his grandmother are. Unlike Naomi, their kind personalities greatly make up for Naomi’s bad behavior," Jessie said as he caressed his wife’s back softly to calm him down.

"Come on honey, let’s go to sleep. You could drone all about Naomi all you want to me," Jessie slowly pulled his wife towards their bed.

Fely laughed at what her husband did. It was such a sweet gesture.

Even though they were old, Jessie had not lost his sweetness and tenderness as he had all those years ago, which was one of her beloved husband’s qualities.

"Okay, okay. Stop it already. You’re all mouth and no action. I have to change before I go to bed."

At the same time, Fely pushed her husband away to get dressed and ready for bed.

Meanwhile, Ruffy was busy preparing food for the mother and son duo. The chef who would’ve been resting if not for the food that he needed to prepare for Naomi and Tanaka. He frowned unhappily while cooking while his assistant cooks did the same. Their foreheads were wrinkled, and their eyes completely focused on the food that was to serve.

"Excuse me, but would you mind hurrying up. It doesn’t take a year to cook such a simple meal," Ruffy frowned, displeased at how slow they were taking to cook and raised an eyebrow as his voice grew louder as he spoke.

When the Chef heard what Ruffy said, he dropped the spoon he was holding.

"If you thought cooking was so easy, then why don’t you do it. It takes a long time to cook something on such short notice," Chef yelled rudely.

The assistant suddenly stopped what he was doing when he heard the Chef answer Ruffy so rudely. He quickly approached his boss, "Sir, just slow down. You know he can easily fire all of us if he wanted to, and that’d be a waste of all our hard work. Where else could you find a huge opportunity like this where you could earn this size of a salary?" The assistant reasoned.

The Chef had realized what he had done, just because of what his assistant had told him. His assistant was somewhat right. They were getting paid a load of money just to be the family’s private Chef there. The Chef quickly apologized to Ruffy on behalf of his rude attitude when he replied to him.

"I’m sorry, sir. I won’t do it again. I apologize for my immature attitude, and I assure you, the food will be finished soon, just give me and my staff a few minutes, and it’ll be cooked by then." The chef said, glancing at Ruffy guiltily.

Ruffy nodded. He accepted the apology and did understand why he’d be angry when he himself had been so impolite, but it was just because of his bottled-up anger from hosting such a rude woman like Naomi.

"That’s all right, but as soon as you’re done, make sure to assign someone to bring the food to the dining room. Do you understand?" Ruffy asked, and both the Chef and his assistant nodded.

He quickly turned around to fetch Naomi and Tanaka to eat. He had escorted both of them to the dining room, and their food was already ready. Ruffy inhaled and exhaled. He waited for the duo to sit down, before hurriedly excusing himself, "I’m so sorry, I need to fix something, but if you need anything, anything at all, I assigned two maids to help. Just inform them of whatever you need."

Naomi rolled her eyes, and Tanaka nodded politely.

Ruffy nodded, excusing himself once again before backing away.

Ruffy had just entered his room and sighed in relief. He could finally get away from the two. He was getting ready to take a relaxing shower before he heard a loud knock on the door. When he ignored the knocking, the person knocking just knocked harder. Ruffy growled.

"I’m coming!" He shouted.

He quickly threw on clothes and rushed to the door.

Ruffy angrily opened the door of his room.

He looked at the person who had knocked, "What is so important that you had to disturb me! I had just gone to my room." Ruffy shouted angrily at the person in front of him.

Ruffy was shocked when he saw the Chef’s worried face staring back at him. It seemed like he was terrified of something, but then, he spoke, "Sir, I’m sorry! I sincerely apologize, but it’s an emergency! The maids can’t handle that crazy woman’s behavior! It’s too much! Sir, please come with me, we have to show you something!" Chef begged, his eyes filled with terror.

Ruffy’s eyes widened, "God have mercy! What did that woman do again? Okay, let’s go." Ruffy closed the door for a moment.

"Chef, you let me handle this. Whatever she says, don’t reply," Ruffy said as they quickly headed towards the dining room.

"Yes!" The Chef nodded as he quickly followed Ruffy.

Ruffy and Chef’s eyes widened as they arrived at the dining room table.

"Oh my God!" Ruffy shouted as he quickly covered his mouth.

He muttered words that were definitely not god related under his breath.

All the food that had been prepared for them was now all scattered on the floor. The plates, glasses, and cutlery were either shattered, broken, or cracked.

And there, in the middle of the mess, were the people that caused this.

Tanaka was standing in the middle of the mess, his face enraged.

His mother was no exception either. Her face was red, and she seemed furious. The two maids that were assigned to them seemed shaken, both near the state of crying.

When Naomi noticed that Ruffy and the Chef had arrived, she pointed her finger.

"You! " She bellowed at the two.

"How dare you serve me food! What kind of people don’t ask the people they serve what they want! How do you know I would want to eat this garbage!" Naomi shouted, still pointing at Ruffy and the Chef.

Ruffy clenched his fists. Naomi had gone too far. She had disrespected his family countless times, she had also wasted the food that their chef had spent a lot of time and effort making, she had also treated Ashley and the rest of his family like garbage, and even though Fely had already slapped her, this was the final straw.

He looked at Tanaka, who was glaring daggers at his mother before he spoke. Apologizing for his mother’s actions for the millionth time.

"Please, accept my apology. I sincerely apologize. My mother...she’s really just disturbed. But thank you so very much for the food you prepared. Apologies to the chef who spent a long time cooking it all, I really am sorry for wasting all of your food."

Ruffy and Chef looked at each other guiltily, wondering how Tanaka could deal with his mother’s actions all his life.

Ruffy and the Chef both sighed.

"Sir, I think it would be better if you and Ms. Hanada just ate outside. About this ’situation’, it’s fine. We should’ve asked Ms. Hanada what she wanted to have before serving her meal. We are truly sorry." Ruffy said, before calling a car to pick the both of them up.

Tanaka decided to follow Ruffy’s advice. He quickly pulled his mother and dragged her out of the villa.

When the staff heard the door close, the two maids and the Chef’s assistant came out of their hiding spots.

"Thank you. We couldn’t handle their behavior, but I thought I was going to die of fear because of what that person did." One of the staff members told Ruffy and the Chef.

"Me too, I almost fainted in my nervous shorts." Another maid responded.

When the Chef’s assistant was about to speak, Ruffy interrupted him, "Yes, now, I’m assigning you all to clean up this mess and make sure there are no broken glasses or plates left on the floor. We wouldn’t want anyone to step on it and get hurt. We have a long day ahead of us tomorrow," Ruffy sighs and returns to his room.
