"I’ve been unconscious for days?" Ashley asked her husband who was blowing the congee that she was going to eat.

"Aaahhh!" Tanaga said while the spoon of congee was getting near Ashley’s mouth.

"Tan! I can eat by myself. Give me that – it’s hot. You might accidentally pour it on you." Tanaga shook his head and kept on feeding her, forcing Ashley to eat. 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚

In the end, Ashley didn’t have a choice but to swallow every spoonful of congee Tanaga offered. She couldn’t avoid staring at her husband’s face while blowing the food; his lips were so cute.

When Ashley finished eating, she needed to use the restroom. When she was about to press the nurse call button, Tanaga noticed it and stopped her.

"What do you need? No need to call a nurse. I’m here, you know?" Then he stood up and was ready to help Ashley.

Ashley didn’t know how to tell him that she needed to go to the restroom. She was slightly shy to ask for help from Tanaga. "Uhm, can we just call the nurse? I need to do it... a number 2 and I’m kinda shy." She blushed after what she said.

"Hahaha! It’s just a number 2! Why are you shy towards me? Ash, we’re married right? I’m sure there was much worse we handled before. Come on or else you might not be able to hold it in any longer." Then Tanaga helped his wife to go to the restroom.

When Ashley got inside the restroom, Tanaga just stood outside the door in case Ashley needed a hand. But the case was when Ashley sat on the seat, she couldn’t use the toilet because she knew her husband was standing outside.

"Tan, could you please leave for a while... I’m conscious knowing you’re there," Ashley uttered to Tanaga, her voice obviously showing her embarrassment.

Tanaga was planning to reject, but he thought that it would be better as she might not get out of there otherwise. "Okay, just call me when you’re finished. I’m not gonna leave, I’ll just go farther so that I won’t smell it. Hahaha!" Tanaga jokingly said while he was walking towards the waiting room of the ward.

Because Ashley’s family knew that Tanaga was with Ashley, they just left the two alone. They just visited her one time and the rest of their conversations were mostly facetimes. Butler Ruffy was the one telling them how Ashley was doing.

The employees of the THJ Marine Division were worried when they heard what happened to their President and CEO. They all planned on visiting Ashley, but Sato told them that Ashley’s ward is restricted, so they just sent flowers and get-well cards.

After a few days the doctor let Ashley go. "You can be discharged now, just make sure you’ll take it easy and don’t move around too much for a couple of days. It would be best if you temporarily use a wheelchair to ensure that the stitches won’t open accidentally again," the doctor told Ashley. He then bid farewell and the two prepared to leave.

When they were inside the car, Ashley couldn’t wait any longer and asked Tanaga, "Tan, now that I’m discharged, what’s your plan?"

Tanaga, who was spacing out, was shocked by Ashley’s question. "Ha? What do you mean?" It was clear that he was puzzled and couldn’t understand her question.

"I mean, are you gonna stay in your condo or in the house? Now that everyone knows you’re still breathing, you can come home to us if you want," Ashley said while she couldn’t look straight at her husband.

She didn’t want him to think that she wanted them to get back together. She asked because she was hoping Tanaga might want to get back again. She was thinking that if they would get back together, Tanaga might recover faster. "So, what do you think?" Ashley’s eyes were pleading while waiting for her husband’s reply.

Tanaga was spacing out because he was thinking how to tell Ashley that he wanted to reconcile again. His face lit up and he smiled from ear to ear. "Thank you, I’ve been thinking about how I would ask you to get back together again. Hahaha! Thank you!" Then he pulled his wife closer and put his hands on her cheeks. While he looked at his wife’s eyes, that were wide open, he slowly kissed Ashley’s eyelids

"Hmm, for some reason, even though I haven’t remembered everything, I know this is how sweet we are," Tanaga said while kissing different places on his wife’s face.

While Tanaga kept on kissing Ashley, full of love, she couldn’t stop herself from crying. She cried tears of joy because even though Tanaga still forgot some of their memories together, she could still see in his face that he didn’t forget his love towards her.

Meanwhile at Ashley’s household, everyone was too occupied while preparing for Ashley’s arrival. Tiny called to inform them that the couple were on their way home, making everyone overly occupied.

"Inday, Arnold, Arnel! Where are you? Come quickly here as we need to go to the Hong Kong market. We have many things to buy!" Mrs. Gusman shouted while walking to the main house.

Inday was doing the laundry and loading the washing machine when she heard Mrs. Gusman’s shout. She immediately finished what she was doing and ran inside the house. "Auntie? Did you call me?" Inday asked, catching her breath.

The two brothers arrived from the gym, drenched in sweat, after Inday went to Mrs. Gusman. Arnold was the one to ask his mother, "What’s the occasion? It looks like you’re planning a feast?"

Mrs. Gusman smiled and excitedly answered, "Your sister was discharged today and she’s with your brother-in-law. I thought of preparing delicious food for a special occasion. Let’s go and one of you should drive," Mrs. Gusman told the three.

"Wait! Why are they just the ones you’ve invited? How about me?" Mr. Gusman jokingly asked, who was outside watering the plants.

"I saw you busy watering your plants, that’s why I thought of not disturbing you, since it looks like you’re enjoying it. But if you want to come too, then let’s go!" Mrs. Gusman retorted.

"Auntie, give me a minute and I’ll just change," Inday said and left to change.

"Me too! I’ll just take a bath ’cause my body’s sweaty." Arnold also left without waiting for his mother’s answer. Arnel waved his hand. "Me too! I’ll be right back!"

Mr. and Mrs. Gusman was left with no choice but to wait for the three.
