Tanaga, on the other hand, suddenly fell silent and wondered what he was going to do. When he did not answer Koji and Jeff, Jeff decided to end their conversation.

"Tanaga, it’s already late and we’re all tired. Another thing is that I also have a meeting tomorrow morning. How about we stop here and all rest? Let’s just continue this tomorrow when you’re sober," Jeff suggested to Tanaga while preparing to stand up to leave.

When Koji saw that Jeff was standing up, he followed. He had to hold the chair because he suddenly felt dizzy when he suddenly stood up. Fortunately, Jeff noticed and helped him to his feet.

"Koji, are you okay? Wait a minute and I’ll get my bodyguard." At the same time, Jeff raised his hand and one of his bodyguards who was standing by quickly approached.

"Sir, do you need anything?" the bodyguard asked while standing behind Jeff and Koji.

"Are you staying here?" Jeff asked Koji first before he answered his bodyguard.

Koji just nodded as he prepared to leave. As he staggered, Jeff’s bodyguard quickly helped him, not waiting for Jeff to order him.

Meanwhile, Tanaga was still motionless and very deep in thought. He did not realize that Jeff was standing while Koji left without saying goodbye to him.

Before Tanaga could move, Jeff approached him and tapped him on the shoulder. "Tanaga! Are you all right?" Jeff waved to Tanaga’s bodyguards at the same time.

"Hah? Oh, yes... of course... why wouldn’t I be okay...?" Tanaga replied while he still seemed to be out of his mind and very drunk.

When Tanaga’s bodyguards approached them, Jeff talked to them, "Take him home so that he can sleep. Don’t let him go anywhere else tonight – understood?" Jeff said seriously if Tanaga’s bodyguard didn’t know, they would be scared.

They immediately helped Tanaga to stand up and guide him to the exit.

Tanaga was spacing out while following his bodyguards. Jeff decided to follow them until they entered the car before coming back to the hotel to rest.

When Tanaga entered the car, just a few moments passed before he passed out. He didn’t even notice how he got home and mostly he didn’t know that Grandma Hanada was furious because she didn’t spot them in the condo when she arrived.

It had been fourteen hours since Ashley was in labor, but the last time her doctor checked her, her opening still didn’t reach 7cm. She was asked to walk again to fasten the widening of her opening

Mother Fely was already starving so she exchanged with Inday for a while. It wasn’t too long when mother Fely left when Ashley began to have labor pain again. This time, it was more painful.

"AHHHH! Oh God! Help me, I can’t handle this anymore!" Ashley shouted while holding Inday’s arm tightly for support.

"Madam Ashley, breathe. Inhale, exhale," Inday cooed, tears falling from her eyes.

Soon, there was blood on Ashley’s leg and when Inday saw this, she almost fainted with fear.

"Ma’am! There’s blood flowing down your legs. Please lie on the bed first and I’ll call for a doctor." Inday was trembling while helping Ashley onto the bed.

When Inday laid Ashley on the bed, she didn’t waste any time and clicked the button to call for help at the nurse’s station. In just a few minutes, the doctor and a few nurses had arrived.

"Prepare the delivery room. We will bring Mrs. Jones now. Go quickly!" Ashley’s doctor commanded while the other nurses were busy putting something on her skin.

While Ashley was being prepared to be brought to the delivery room, Inday went to Ashley’s family to inform them of what happened.

"*Huh-huh-huh* Father Jessie, Mother Fely *Huh-huh-huh* It’s Ashley!" That’s all Inday could say before everyone ran out of the VIP waiting room to Ashley’s room.

When they arrived, they saw Ashley on the stretcher, going out of the room while some nurses were pushing it.

Ashely was sweating so much and visibly couldn’t handle the pain. Her mouth was shut, and she was biting her lips.

"Hmmm!!" Ashley groaned in pain while trying to muffle her screams.

"Wait!" Ashley’s family shouted while approaching them. The nurses listened and stopped pushing the stretcher.

"What’s happening? Where are you taking my daughter?" Father Jessie asked worriedly.

The head nurse answered Father Jessie, "Sir, this is an emergency and we need to take her to the delivery room." Then she looked at the rest of the family. "Go quickly. The doctor is waiting."

Ashley’s family had no choice but to follow them. Father Jessie was holding Ashley’s hand to calm her a bit. Mother Fely, on the other hand, was wiping the sweat off her daughter’s face.

"Ashley, strengthen yourself. Think about the happy moments that have happened in your life, like when you met Tanaga, and how he loves you so much, okay?" Mother Fely cooed while rubbing her daughter’s head.

Ashley was still enduring the pain she was feeling. But her belly felt like burning again and it was the most painful sensation she had ever felt. She couldn’t stand the pain and it caused her to scream.

"AHHH!!!" The pressure of her scream caused blood to flow out of her opening that even the sheets covering her were stained. When Father Jessie saw this, he was shocked at first, but he then came back to his senses.

"Where is the doctor? I need to talk to them!" Father Jessie told the head nurse.

The head nurse told him where he could find Ashley’s doctor before they continued on pushing the stretcher.

Jessie’s father quickly went to Ashley’s doctor to have an in-depth talk.

"Doc, I’m not sure how it is over here, but from my experience, I think it would be best if you either induce labor or do a cesarean already. I’m worried that my daughter and her child would be at risk if there’s no more water in her womb. Blood is already flowing!" Father Jessie cried while concern painted his face dry.

"I understand your concern, Mr. Gusman. Do not worry because that was the thing I was about to propose. I’ll prepare the operating room and also induce labor. If that doesn’t work, we’ll go straight to cesarean. Please go back to the waiting room so that I can start." the doctor calmly explained.

Mr. Gusman didn’t have a choice but to go where his family was. But when he arrived at the VIP waiting room, no one was there. Then he went out and asked where the operating room was located.
