Once Ashley mentioned their baby, Tanaga was a goner, he would give everything that his wife asks even if she asked him to jump off the cliff. For his wife and child, he would move heaven and earth.

Therefore, when Ashely said that they should just eat at her parent’s house, he didn’t argue. Tanaga quickly got up and helped his wife to stand up so they could leave already.

"Your wish is my command! Let’s go to my beautiful wife so that our baby could eat." Tanaga said as he caressed Ashley’s belly before kissing it.

They were almost out of the door when Ashley notice the clothes they’re wearing. Her eyes widened before her eyebrow raised. She stopped Tanaga from going.

"Tan, I think we should change our clothes first. It’s a little too flashy for our neighborhood to see. Look at what we are wearing, what do you think?" Ashley whispered while pouting as she pointed at her shoes and clothes. Then to her husband’s clothes, from head to toe, it screams luxury.

Tanaga looks at his self, but he can’t see anything wrong with what he’s wearing. So he can’t understand why does his wife wants him to change?

"Sweetheart, explain again, why do we need to get change? Isn’t what Im wearing now good enough? Do I need to wear a tuxedo or something?" Banter’s Tanaga, knowing that was not Ashley was trying to say.

With that, Ashley pinched him on the side before pulling him back inside the room. "You! You’ve never had enough on teasing me! One more teasing, you’re will be in the dog house." Ashley threatened him as they walked towards the room. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝙚𝔀𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝒐𝒎

Meanwhile, back in Ashley’s parent’s home, the Gusman family arrived. Mrs. Gusman quickly got out of the vehicle excitedly then rushed inside the house.

Her husband and their children followed right behind her.

"Arthur! Son, are you here?" Mrs. Gusman shouted as she enters the house. When no one answered, she quickly went upstairs and went straight to the room where Arthur would usually use whenever his home.

Mrs. Gusman opened the door excitedly without knocking. To her dismay, there was no Arthur in the room. She was disappointed and sigh. "Where could this young man be?" She asked herself as she comes down the stair.

"He’s not in his usual room, but his luggage was there, do you all have any idea where he could be?" Shouted Mrs. Gusman as she descended the stairs.

Ariel was coming out from the kitchen replied. "Mother, he’s not here either!" Said Ariel nonchalantly while holding a glass of cold water in his hand.

Having heard what Mrs. Gusman said, Mr. Gusman decided to look for his son outside the house. If his hunch were correct, Arthur would be at the corner store to visit his girlfriend.

He has an inkling that Arthur had thought that since they were not home yet, it’s best to visit his girlfriend first.

Sure enough, Arthur was sitting right next to his girlfriend while talking with their friends.

Arthur didn’t notice his father’s arrival. He was too busy bragging right in front of his friends. " It’s unbelievable that I’m able to be back here to spend the new year with all of you. Think about it? It was only two months ago when I bid you all goodbye, and I’m back already. Hahaha!"

"That’s right! You’re a lucky man. But wait, are you sure you didn’t get fired? Hahaha!" His friend banters while tapping his shoulder.

"Nah, I have a stronghold on the shipowner! There’s no way they would have guts to fire me. Hahaha!" He boasted. Unbeknown to him that his father was standing right behind him and heard the whole thing.

Mr. Gusman’s furrowed, and his brows raised then shakes his head before giving Arthur a light tap on his shoulder.

"Hmph! If you’re finish boasting, maybe you would like to come home first while the whole family is going crazy trying to find you." Mr. Gusman calmly said, but the anger was vivid, with an unreadable face.

"Oh! Father, I’m sorry!" Arthur quickly stands up to hug his father.

His girlfriend and all of his friends follow suit and stand up to give respect to the older man.

"Good evening Doctor Gusman," Arthur’s girlfriend said.

"Good evening, sir!" All of Arthur’s friends said in unison.

"Hmm," Answer’s Mr. Gusman to Arthur’s girlfriend and nod. "Let’s go! If we stay here longer, I might not be able to hold my temper." Said Mr. Gusman to his son then turn around to walk home first.

"Okay, goodbye, everyone! Let’s continue the chat tomorrow before I get into deep sh*t from my father."

He bent to give his girlfriend a quick smack on her cheek before running after his father, who was already a block away.

" Father! Wait! " Arthur shouted to his father, who didn’t even pay attention to him.

Mr. Gusman was in deep thought as he walks down the street while he keeps shaking his head. He didn’t like what’s happening with his family. He feels that his sons were abusing their employer’s kindness, and he doesn’t like it one bit.

"They need to have a family meeting before it gets out of hand. How do they know if their boss was only kind because he’s wooing his youngest child? What would happen if Ashley does not fall for him, what then? He needs to straighten his children before it’s too late. Hmph!" Grumble Mr. Gusman as his stride becomes faster by the minutes.

No sooner than Mr. Gusman entered the house, he calls everyone. "Fely, children come over here! We need to have a meeting!" From the way he barked, one could tell that he’s upset over something.

Everyone came out of where they were with curiosity showing on their faces. It is not very often that Mr. Gusman would get upset, and from the look on his face - He’s really to kill someone.

While their faces were curious about this meeting was all about, Arthur arrived with a big grin plastered on his face. "Hello, everyone! I’m home..." He greeted as he enters the threshold of the front door.

No one answers; they only gave him a meaningful look. Everybody was already seated in the living room, and he’s the only one they were waiting so they could start the meeting.

"It’s good that you’re here! Sit, and we’ll talk!" Bellowed Mr. Gusman to Arthur, who was stunned from being yelled at by his father.

Arman, Ariel, Arnold, and Arnel are quietly seated and waiting for Arthur to sit.

When Arthur noticed that their father’s face is not good and his siblings were all quiet, he got worried. He asked before sitting, "what are we going to talk about, and why you’re all serious? Are we going to celebrate new year frowning?" Banters Arthur while sitting near his older brother Arman.

*Pak!* He suddenly got a strike on the head from his older brother.

"Shut up!" Then he looked at him with a raised brow.

Arthur left with no choice but to sit down and shut his mouth. He suddenly got nervous and worried about what they would be discussing.

’God, I’m praying to you right now that this is not about my sister and her boss. If they asked me about them, you know I cannot lie. What would I do?’ He silently prays in his mind while beads of sweat began to procure on his handsome face.
