When Grandma Hanada found out that Ashley’s visa was approved. She immediately called KC to rush the clothes she had made to ordered for her. She wanted to make sure that Ashley would look the part as an assistant and as Mrs. Tanaga Jones, her Granddaughter-in-law.

"She needs the clothes I had made to order for you to create asap. Are you sure all will be ready on time?!" Asked Grandma Hanada a sternly.

"Of course, Chairwoman! What do you take me for, of course, everything will be ready even if we have to pull an all-nighter, we will not stop until it’s done." He said proudly.

He would never let it his VVVIP customer be unhappy with his service. If not for Chairwoman Hanada’s patronage, he would not have risen to his popularity through Asia. Therefore, he would not let his relationship with the older woman get damage.

"I’m glad to hear that, as soon as you’re finished, have it delivered straight to CEO Jones’s mansion. Do you understand me?" Grandma Hanada commanded as her voice was stern and somewhat vigorous.

"Yes, Madam! I will make sure to have it delivered as you requested before she flies out." KC’s PromisePromise to the older woman sincerely.

After hearing what KC said, only then she lowered the phone. She was satisfied with the famous designer’s PromisePromise, he had never once break hi promise before and she’s sure he would not do so now.

After speaking to KC, Grandmother Hanada called Ashley next to invite her to her home and have dinner.

"Since you will be flying out soon, how about spending a little time with this old soul? Have dinner with me, and afterward, we can have a little chat. This way, I will have a lasting memory and will not miss you so much."

"All right! I’ll just call my parents first, then I’ll be right over." Ashley said happily as she thought about what else she would need to take with her to America.

The excitement that she’s feeling was priceless. She couldn’t believe that she would be flying to America soon to be with her husband. "Husband! Hahaha! That really sounds sweet coming out of my mouth." She mumbles as she continued, making preparation.

"Hmm, I wonder if it’s cold there now? I know there is snow there. Fortunately and I have a thick jacket. What else do I need to bring." She mumbling to herself while running around her room trying to figure out what she would need to bring with her.

While she was excitedly busy rummaging to her belongings, Inday came with a tray with a glass of water and lots of bottled vitamins. She laid it on the night table before disappearing without even speaking.

A couple of minutes later, she came back with more of her clothes that were freshly ironed and put it in the cabinet. Still not speaking a word.

Ashley couldn’t handle it any longer, "Inday, could you come here for a moment please!" She called out as Inday was about to step out of the room.

"Yes, ma’am! Do you need anything?" She asked while not looking directly at Ashley.

"Are you okay? Why do you look like it’s the end of the world?" Se asked seeing how sad Inday was and it looks like she’s about to cry.

"Oh’ Ma’am Ashley! I’m so sorry! I’m just sad that you will be away for a long time. Who will take care of you in America? As far as I know, there’s no housemaid there. What would happen if you get sick while you’re over there? Better yet, if you have your morning sickness, who will take care of you?" Said Inday sadly, while it’s evident that she’s worried for her employer.

Ashley thought Inday was very thoughtful and embraces her tightly. "Hahaha! Inday, Inday ... Don’t worry, Sir Jones is there. He would take care of me. If he does n’t take care of me, then I wouldn’t be in a plane heading back. " She banters so that Inday wouldn’t worry.

"Alright! This is enough drama, Grandma Hanada is waiting for me to have dinner. I need to get out of here, do you want to come along? "Ashley invited Inday so she won’t be sad anymore.

" It’s okay, ma’am! That older woman is a little scary. When she was here for just a few days, I didn’t even know where to hide, so she wouldn’t notice me. You go ahead, I stay and continue making preparation for you." Inday quickly volunteers.

While Ashley was on the way to Grandma Hanada, she decided to text her family and tell them the good news. She knew they’ll definitely be happy for her that she will be able to go to America. She began composing her text.

[ Hello, everyone! I just wanted to let you all know that my visa for America was approved and I would be flying out asap. In case I don’t get to call you in a couple of days, it means I’m very busy or I’m in the air already. I will call you as soon as I landed. Love you all!] She then hit send.

Right when she finished texting, they have arrived at Grandma Hanada’s mansion. She still couldn’t believe what had happened to her since she arrived in Japan. It seems that she was the only person awakes when God spread grace to mankind. Not that she’s complaining, she knows she deserves it.

Her main goal when she went to Japan was to earn a living and make her parents’ life comfortable. That was all, she wasn’t asking for too much. In actuality, her family is not dirt poor, they were considered middle class in the Philippines.

However, she also saw how hard her parents worked to provide for them and it’s about time they enjoy life. She wanted them to go on a much-needed vacation. Take a cruise here and there, travel in other countries, enjoy life in general.

That’s only possible if they have the funds. And she would provide them that, even if they kill her. However, for now, she still doesn’t have the money to give to her parents. But, that doesn’t mean she would not have it someday.

Ashley stepped out of the vehicle full of determination, she would first take care of her husband and unborn child. Then when the time is right, and she has the means... She would make sure her parents received what they deserve. -
