Grandmother Hanada and Ashley tightly embrace each other. It’s now confirmed that Ashley is pregnant, and they were both jumping for joy. Both didn’t realize that tears were flowing down their faces.

"I’m so proud of you! Good job! Now, I’m one hundred percent sure that your husband would never let you go. Hahaha! I’m so happy that I will be able to see my great-grandchild before I leave this world. Hahaha!" Grandmother Hanada couldn’t stop herself from laughing and crying at the same time.

"You think so, Grandma? Do you think that once Tan learned that we are pregnant, he would never let me go? Oh’ God! I hope so! I will not be able to handle it if I am separated from my child after I give birth." Whispered Ashley so the Doctor would not hear their conversation.

"Congratulations! Mrs. ???" The Doctor was fishing for the name of the father. He knows that she must be someone related to the Chairwoman. Unfortunately, Grandmother Hanada was quick-witted with her reply.

"She’s still a ’Miss’ Doctor! Miss Gusman, as you can see in her profile." Said Grandmother Hanada sternly with a raised eyebrows. "I know what you’re up to Doc. If you’re trying to find out who the father of this child, let’s just say that it’s one of my grandsons! Do you understand now?"

"Apology, Chairwoman Hanada." Said the Doctor sheepishly. "I have a feeling that one of your grandsons is the father; if not-why would you waste time accompanying this beautiful young mother to get a check-up. Hahaha! Anyway, it’s still in early stage, as far as I could tell-it’s only over four weeks." He couldn’t look at her straight in her eyes.

"Miss Gusman will need to be careful during the first trimester. No overwork, no staying up late, and most importantly, she would need to be careful and not do it instantaneously. You know what I mean, right? Once you passed the first trimester, you could do derby if you want. but not until then." He jokingly asked Ashley while grinning from ear to ear.

"Hmmm, It’s a good thing that he’s not here right now. Hahaha!" Said Grandmother Hanada jokingly to Ashley.

Ashley was embarrassed and her cheek turned red, "Grandma, please!" Was all she could utter, unable to look at either the Doctor or Grandmother Hanada straight face. 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖

Ashley and grandmother Hanada stood up and said their goodbye to the doctor after giving her instruction and prenatal vitamins. Grandmother Hanada gave Harumi the prescription to get it from the pharmacy.

"Harumi, we’re going ahead, and we’ll just wait for you in the car. Don’t be late!" Grandmother Hanada said as they were about to leave.

"Thank you, doctor! I would appreciate that no one in my family would know about this. I and I alone should know about this, well, except for the child’s father. We will bring him to the next appointment. Then you would know who it is ... "

Instead of going back to the office, Grandma Hanada suggested they eat lunch first. " I’ll let you chose the restaurant, we need to celebrate this happy occasion."

Ashley was about to say the name of Alden’s restaurant when she remembers that Koji has a launch appointment with him, and she didn’t want to run-in to either one of them.

"Anywhere is fine with me, I’m not craving anything yet, so any restaurant is fine for me." Ashley smiled as she thought about how she would tell Tanaga about their baby.

Grandma Hanada read her thoughts and quickly advised her. "Ashley, I think it’s better that you don’t tell Tanaga yet. What he’s doing right now is important, maybe he’ll be distracted and suddenly decide to come home because you can’t join him yet. You never know ... It’s for the good of the company." Grandma Hanada said as her eyes pleaded.

"Yes, grandma! I was wondering how I was going to tell him, but since you said not yet, then not yet. It’s better this way anyway. It would be a surprise for him when I join him in America." Ashley says, smiling.

Meanwhile, Koji arrived at the hospital about fifteen minutes after Ashley and grandmother Hanada. Just so, they wouldn’t know that he was following them, he instead went to the office of the hospital’s Director.

Director Fukuda was surprised to see COO Hanada. "Good day to you, COO Hanada!" Greeted the Director as he bowed in respect.

Koji also bowed his head and greeted the Director back. "Good day to you too, Director Fukuda. How’s are you?" Koji’s earnest question.

Director Fukuda is a busy man, he has so much work to do and couldn’t afford to cheat-chat. Therefore, he went straight to the point. "What can I do for you young-man that you’re here today?" Asked the old man without blinking an eye.

"Actually, I would like to ask for your help. Chairwoman Hanada is here today, and she has a lady with her who needs a check-up. I don’t know which department they were going to, and I want to go see them. Can you look at the record and tell me where they are? " Said Koji with a straight face.

Since Director Fukuda was aware that Koji was the grandson of Chairwoman Hanada, he did not hesitate to provide him the information. "Let’s see, Doctor Akiyama was assigned to her, why don’t you go and see if they are still there." Said Director Fukuda it was apparent that he wanted Koji to leave.

"Thank you, Director Fukuda, can you please give me the direction of where is his office is? I didn’t even know this Doctor Akiyama. Is he new here?" Koji asked because he couldn’t remember what is his practice?

"Yes! He is a general practitioner, but he specializes in Obstetrics. Hmmm? I didn’t know someone in your family is married? Who was the woman your grandmother brought with her and needed an Obstetrician?" Director’s surprisingly asked Koji?

Even Koji didn’t know why, but he didn’t reveal it to the Director. "Ah, the girl with Chairwoman is one of my family friends." That is all Koji said and did not elaborate.

"Thank you! Let me go ahead so I could catch up with the Chairwoman." Said Koji before he quickly left to go to Dr. Akiyama’s office.

Dr. Akiyama’s office is not too far from the Director’s office. Therefore, Koji was able to get there in no time. Right when he arrived, he saw Grandmother Hanada and Ashley leaving. He first hid and let them board the elevator before heading to Dr. Akiyama’s office.

Even though the door was halfway opened, Koji knocked first. *Knock, knock!*

Dr. Akiyama was busy typing the report. He thought it was the next patient who was knocking, so he didn’t even look at who it was and just replied. "Come in! Please, have a seat, and I will be with you in a minute." While he continued what he was doing.

Koji, in turn, followed suit and sat down in the chair in front of the Doctor’s desk. Because he was busy, Koji did not speak. He just sat there and waited until he was done whatever it is he was doing.

Once Dr. Akiyama finished the report, he quickly put the document in the file. Just then he finally look-up give his attention to the newcomer.

"So... Oh, ’my bad! I’m sorry! I thought you were a patient? Hahaha! What can I do for you? I don’t think you are here to have a pregnancy test? Hahaha," Jokingly said Dr. Akiyawa to Koji because he doesn’t know him at all.

Koji stood up from the chair and extended his hand to shake hands with Dr. Akiyama.

"Hi! I’m COO Hanada of THG Group. My Grandmother was just here earlier, and she was with a girl. What was the result of her test?" Koji went straight to the point, he wanted the Doctor to think that he is the child’s father if Ashley is in fact pregnant.

Dr. Accepted Koji handshakes, before... "So’ you are Chairwoman Hanada’s grandson? Could it be that the girl that was with her is your girlfriend?" Asked by Dr. Akiyama as he smiled at Koji and seemed excited to blurt out what was the result of Ashley’s test.
