The Billionaire's Contracted Wife [English]

"Excuse me, Ms. Hanada!" Fely called as she approached Naomi, who had stopped walking and glanced at who had called her in the first place. She turned around with a raised brow and glared at the caller.

Jessie lightly squeezed Fely’s shoulder since he knew that her wife was angry, and he was worried about what she’s planning to tell and do to Tanaga’s mother.

"Let me go, Jessie, it’ll be fine. I just have something to show her, nothing to worry about." At the same time, Fely removed Jessie’s hand that was holding her shoulder and walked towards Naomi.

Jessie could do nothing but watch as he let his wife go. He was afraid that she might snap and insult Naomi, but he just awaited his dear wife’s next move. He knew this would be a sight to see. He had been married to her for many years and knows how she is.

"Yes?" Naomi replied as she glanced at Fely, looking at her from head to toe.

As Fely slowly walked closer to her, Naomi’s chest throbbed.

She couldn’t understand why she was nervous while also knowing that nothing terrible would happen to her.

Maybe it was because of the look on the face of the person who was approaching. Or her even colder glare that pierced through her very soul.

"What? What do you need? And why’d you stopped me? I’m exhausted, and I am in need of a relaxing bath!" Naomi snarled harshly.

Fely just walked straight towards her, and it was then that somebody heard a slapping sound.

To everyone’s astonishment, Fely had slapped Naomi. She then glared as she said, "Take that! Don’t you dare think of my family and me like poor slaves! We are to be treated fairly, and how you treat my family and me is lower than poor."

Without hesitation, she then turned around and walked towards their room without looking back.

Jessie was proud and impressed. "I knew that was going to happen, and Fely slapping Naomi was wrong, but Naomi did deserve that," he muttered under his breath.

Ruffy managed to say the two words everyone was probably thinking of, before smiling.

"Oh, wow."

Arnold and Arnel’s face didn’t look so shocked; they were mere children, so they didn’t even know what was going on.

But on Tanaka’s face, lay a look of utter shock, a slight hint of a smile protruding from his mouth. He thought it was time someone put his mother to her place, but he never expected Fely to do it. But nevertheless, Naomi, immature or not, was still his mother, so he decided to break whatever fight that was about to happen.

Tiny had just walked into the room and witnessed everything, and he smiled, whispering under his breath, "Good for her, Naomi got what she finally deserved. That’s what you get for treating each of us like dirt. We are all to be treated fairly, even though we come from different types of families."

On the other hand, Naomi was incredibly shocked by what had just happened to her that she couldn’t speak and was left dumbfounded. When she returned to her senses, she stormed towards the room the maid had entered, fist clenched, and jaw shut. Her eyes radiated pure rage, and Tanaka knew what she wanted to do.

So, he quickly intervened, stopping his mother before she could’ve done any more harm.

"Mother! Stop! Please! Hurting anyone back would only cause a bigger problem. It’s not the right solution." Tanaka pleaded, before apologizing on behalf of his mother, something he had gotten used to doing so many times.

"I apologize on behalf of my mother’s...immature actions. But we are quite exhausted and hungry from the trip, so she was quite hangry," Tanaka said, apologizing to everyone while also using his free hands to prevent his mother from chasing Fely and ’getting back at her.’

Ruffy decided to accompany the mother and son duo to their rooms to avert any unwanted scenes or fights to erupt. Tiny and one of the maids were carrying their luggage while following the three to their respective places.

Jessie, Arnold, and Arnel returned to their respective rooms, all of them exhausted from the day they just had.

When Naomi had arrived at her room, Ruffy had assigned one of the maids to help assist her with whatever she needed, while Tiny took Tanaka’s luggage to another room so he could have the chance to rest as well.

Before they rested, Tanaka had instructed his mother not to do anything else to embarrass their family even more than she already did. Since they were running out of patience and since Tanaka was simply getting sick and tired of always apologizing for his mother’s mistakes.

The room that Ruffy gave Tanaka was next to The twin’s room. So while Tanaka was walking, he saw Inday exiting a room with something to take to the kitchen.

When Inday saw Tanaka coming, he bowed as a sign of respect and nodded while the door was still open.

"Good evening Mr. Jones! The children are still awake if you would like to visit them, of course," Inday offered, his smile encouraging and friendly.

Tanaka was surprised for a moment before stopping, "Good evening Inday, yes, I did come here to visit the children, but why are they still awake? Isn’t it past their bedtime?"

He peered into the room to see Juanita busy changing the diaper of one of the twins.

He entered the room, sneaking behind Juanita, who overlooked Tanaka behind her.

He greeted Juanita, "Hello Juanita."

Juanita almost jumped in fright.

"Oh! Mr. Jones. Sorry, I didn’t see you there." Juanita spoke, smiling at Tanaka.

"Oh, it’s alright! I’m just visiting the children. Go ahead and continue what you’re doing and just pretend I’m not here." Tanaka said softly, his eyes twinkling with pure joy at seeing his two nephews.

But what he didn’t know was that Ruffy was just quietly watching while deep in thought, thinking of preparing something to eat for the mother and son duo.

He remembered what Tanaka had said, and remembered that Tanaka said his mother’s behavior was because she was famished and exhausted, so Ruffy assumed that Tanaka was hungry too, but too polite to say anything.

He greeted Tanaka, "Hello Mr. Jones, would you like something to eat? I could bring it to your room next door."

Tanaka nodded in appreciation.

"Okay, I’ll call the maid to bring it to your room when the meal is ready," Ruffy told Tanaka before leaving.

As soon as Ruffy left, Tanaka asked if he could hold one of the twins.

"Sir, you don’t have to ask me, you don’t have to ask for permission to carry your own child." Juanita smiled timidly at her employer who was standing right in front of her.

Tanaka looked at Juanita, intending to correct her misconception, but he just decided to let it go and wait for the right time to talk about it. He quickly picked up one of the twins and sat on the rocking chair inside the room as he tried to rock one of the twins to sleep.

Juanita thought of giving both of them some alone time, "Sir Jones, it’s best if I leave the room, so you and he can bond. If you need me, sir, I’ll be outside."

"Thank you so very much sir, but for me, it is time to take my leave now," Juanita said, before gently picking the other twin and placing him on Tanaka’s other hand, leaving at once right after, and also leaving Tanaka all alone while carrying two children in each arm, whose mouth was wide open at the sudden news of Juanita’s leave.

Meanwhile, in Naomi’s room, the maid had moved, quickly preparing the bathwater to the perfect temperature Naomi had wanted. She instantly left the room once she was done, terrified of Naomi, who was still grumbling about something and holding the spot Fely had slapped her at.

She couldn’t believe that somebody had slapped her, especially someone as low and poor as Fely when she had done ’nothing’ wrong.

If she hadn’t been stunned and shocked by the incident, she would’ve been outraged, and pulled out Fely’s hair and slapped her until she begged her to stop.

She never allowed anyone to touch her. Something Fely didn’t care about, since she had the courage to slap Naomi, who was forced to marry a person she didn’t particularly like and bear him children.

Naomi promised herself that she would get her revenge. While entering the already warmed bathtub, she thought of a way to get revenge on Fely.

"Get ready Fely, I’ll make sure to get my revenge. You don’t know what I’m actually capable of. You’re going to wish you had buried me and never had slapped me." Naomi promised, a giant evil grin plastered on her face.
