Grandma Hanada was waiting for her in the parlor when she arrived. The Older woman was enjoying a cocktail before dinner while watching the news. Her face lit up when she saw Ashley walks in with a bright smile, plastered on her angelic face.

The older woman couldn’t help herself but smile as the girl approaches her. She lifted her arms and spread it wide opened to give Ashley a welcome embrace.

"Good evening, Grandma!" Said Ashley as she took the older woman’s embrace instead of bowing to pay respect.

"Oh’ child! I’m so happy for both of you! I’m sure Tan is over the moon right now. I’m sure you will have so much fun in the US, there’s so much to see and do. Hahaha!" Grandma Hanada whispered to Ashley while in her arms.

"Me too! I’m so happy that I don’t think I would be able to sleep tonight. Hahaha!" Said Ashley while her eyes were twinkling.

The dinner was excellent. The Chef had overdone himself when Grandma Hanada told him that it’s a happy occasion and make sure to prepare all of his signature dishes. In which he did just that!

After dinner, Grandma Hanada excused herself, saying that she has a session and would not be able to cancel at the last minute. But, in actuality, she was only giving way so Ashley could call her husband after dinner. She thought that Ashley must be excited to share the good news.

Ashley didn’t argue since, in fact, she had made a plan to call her husband as soon as the dinner was over. Knowing there’s a Twelve hours difference, she wanted to catch her husband before he goes to his appointment.

She didn’t linger any longer than necessary. She quickly bid the older woman goodbye so they could be on the way home. Grandma Hanada didn’t stop her, even though she still wants to spend some time with her.

Instead, she made up her mind... She would follow her to America and spend time with her while Tanaga is busy with his business dealing. It would be good for her to be there so she could take good care of Ashley and her unborn great-grandchild.

She didn’t let Ashley know about her plan. She would wait on Christmas day when she would come to surprise the couple. This way they could spend new years together as well. "It would be the best new year ever!" Mumbles Grandma Hanada as she smiles intently of her decision.

Just in time that Ashley finished taking a shower, her cellphone lit up, and a facetime call was coming. She looked at the number and saw that it was her husband. A sweet smile protrudes on her face before she excitedly slid her fingers on the screen.

"Hi! Honey, what time is it there? Did you just wake up?" She happily greeted. It’s visible on the screen that her husband was getting ready.

His hair still wet from the recent shower, and a towel was wrapped around from below to waistline. Therefore, she could view the masculine abs that look like six-packs shining brightly while the water droplet was dripping.

"Tan, you are so mean... You can’t do this to me! How am I supposed to go to sleep after seeing that!" She banters while her pouted lips pointing on his body.

Pearly white teeth with two heavily dented dimple were his reply to his wife’s banters. "I did it in purpose, showing you all my assets, so you will keep it in mind what’s await her for you. Hahaha! So’ hurry on up and get on the plane, because if you don’t,..." He didn’t get to finish his joke when he saw the screen went blank, and Ashley’s face was gone.

"Oh’ my God! I can’t believe that my wife is an extremely jealous person. I better shut my mouth from now on, or I might end up in the dog house." He mumbles as he tried to call her again.

While he was dialing, "God, I was only joking. Please, help me and make my wife take my call. I promise I won’t do it again, please!" Prayed Tanaga while he was waiting for his wife to answer his facetime call.

Fortunately, Ashley was not angry at all and still answered his call. However, the raised brows and soured face were still there, and it scares him to death. He swiftly made a sigh of the cross before putting on a sad-looking face.

’Holy cow! Now I’m dead for sure! How to recover my silly joke back?’ He thought while Ashley just continued staring at him and remained silent.

"Sweetheart... I’m so sorry! I was only kidding, please, forgive me. Please!!!" He pathetically begged. "Promise! I’ll never make fun of you again. Please !!!" As he clasped his palms together, pleading and praying.

At first, Ashley was glaring at him and then, "Hahaha! Hahaha! Hahaha! What are you asking for forgiveness for? What did you do? Which one? Ah’ when you were saying something about me hurrying up and get there, then my cellphone suddenly run out of battery. What were you trying to say?" She asked, wondering why her husband was apologizing to her.

Tanaga, who has one foot raised ready to put his brief. While one hand was holding the towel so it wouldn’t fall ... all of a sudden dropped the towel when heard what his wife said.

"You mean your cellphone died because you didn’t have a battery, and that’s what happened?" He was looking intently at Ashley with her left hand covering her eyes while her right hand was pointing at him.

"Tan ... Tan, what are you doing? It’s embarrassing! What if someone else saw you doing that? Put on your brief first!" Ashley shouted while her eyes still covered with her hand two fingers apart, embarrassed.

Tanaga glanced down, and there he noticed that the towel had just fallen off, and his big-birdie was greeting his lovely wife. "Holly, shit!" Tanaga shouted as he quickly put on the brief. "I’m sorry! I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to shock you!. You can look, I’m wearing my brief now!"

When Ashley heard that Tanaga was wearing a brief, she slowly lowered her left hand, covering her eyes. Her face flushed red while a wide grin plastered on her beautiful face.
