At first, Tanaga was stunned when he realized that someone had come in and disturbed them. A scowl showed on his face that turned sour as he got up and ready to reprimand his employees.

He was not upset because his junior secretary had seen something. He could care less about that and didn’t care what they thought, either. Because, if need be, he will let everyone know they are married.

Ashley was worried when she saw Fumika came in. She knows that Tanaga would be upset, and she could get in trouble. But now, Ashley’s more concerned about the way her husband was shooting dagger at the two of them. She decided to do something about before her husband decided to fire Fumika.

"You heard her explanation, right? She didn’t mean it. Don’t worry about them, let’s go ahead and finish preparing all the documents that you need to take with you." Ashley whispered as she made sure her tone of voice was lovely and loving.

There was nothing Tanaga could do once Ashley spoke. His face softens as he decided just to ignore Sato and Fumika, who were still arguing. Tanaga resumed what he was doing before they were interrupted—preparing documents that he would be taking with him to America.

Once Tanaga cooled down and continued what he was doing before, Ashley decided to intervene at Sato and Fumika, who was still arguing. She approached the two with a beautiful smile on her lips.

"Fumika, stop crying! You have nothing to fear. Sir Jones will not scold you just because you had seen something you shouldn’t. After all, you did not do it on purpose." Ashley said gently and still smiling, even after speaking.

When Fumika heard Ashley’s words, her mood lightened, and she stopped crying. She wiped the tears dripping down her face before telling Ashley what her purpose for barging in like that was.

"Thank you, ma’am Ashley! That sure ease my burden worrying I might get scolded or fired just because I saw something I shouldn’t." Said Fumika with a slight smile on her lips.

"By the way, COO Hanada’s secretary called wanting to make an appointment for him. I told her that I would inform you, and you would call her back once you’re available." Fumika told her softly while still not looking straight at Ashley.

With Fumika’s facial expression, Ashley smiled broadly." Fumika, come here. " she grabbed her arm and brought her to the couch to talk.

"First of all, you didn’t do anything wrong for Sir Jones to scold you. I have something to tell you that will ease the burden on your mind, but I won’t say it unless you make a promise first. So, are you promising? "Ashley asked seriously.

" You have to promise me now that you won’t tell your two colleagues outside. Do you understand me? "Ashley asked straight to the point. This time, none of the smiles just lashed her face. She needed to be serious about their conversation.

" Yes, yes, Ma’am Ashley! I promise not to tell anyone what you’re about to tell me! Cross my heart and hope to die!" Fumika replied, looking straight at Ashley. She just had to make a nationalist pledge for Ashley to believe her.

" Hahaha! I believe in you. Otherwise, I’ll just let your little mind run and think whatever about Sir Jones and me. Anyway, in regards to Sir Jones’ and I... " Ashley looks at Tanaga first, who was busy and could care less about them while Sato was helping him.

"Tan! Sir Jones! "Ashley called softly to Tanaga, who stopped and turned to look at Ashley’s direction."

"What? Do you need anything? " He asked curiously with a slight smile on his face.

" Can I? " Asked Ashley as she pouted her lips, pointing at Fumika’s direction in front of her.

" Sure! Do what you think is best. Let everyone know; you could even tell the whole office. It’s too tedious to hide! "Tanaga complains.

Fumika was just listening while suspecting that the two are boyfriend and girlfriend, so she’s ready for Ashley to tell her what she’s thinking all along.

"Fumika, you see ... sir Jones and I ... are married already. We are Mr. and Mrs. Jones... The reason we don’t want to let people know because I don’t want employees to treat me differently when I see or encounter any of them.
