I Summoned Demon and Angel in Cultivation World

Chapter 7: A Cat Who Wants a Harem

"85? How much is that?"

The cat looked at Tyler and asked.

"Hmm! You can’t destroy the town, but you can fight my dad to a standstill. Of course, that is if he didn’t use any spells or martial arts."

Hearing that, the cat rolled its eyes and said.

"Then, what is your father’s strength?"

Tyler chuckled embarrassedly and explained.

"The power level is used to describe the physical strength, Qi and elemental powers of a cultivator."

"The cultivation realms are divided into nine realms, but I only know four of them. Qi Refining Realm, Foundation Establishment Realm, Golden Core Realm and Nascent Soul Realm."

"Well, I have heard about the other five realms, but I don’t know much about them."

"These five realms are Spiritual Transformation Realm, Void Fusion Realm, Body Transcendence Realm, Great Ascension Realm, and Final Tribulation Realm."

The cat interrupted.

"That’s a lot of realms. By the way, why do those names sound so ridiculous?"

Tyler glared at the cat and said.

"You mustn’t say something like that. Each name has its meaning, representing the power of that realm."

"Like Qi Refining Realm. In this realm, you unlock nine meridians and nine vortices inside the Dantian."

"Once formed, one could reach the peak of the Qi Refining Realm. Because we don’t train our bodies extremely in this realm, each stage only increases our power level by one."

"Qi Refining Realm has ten stages: Nine for those meridians and one for the vortices. At the Qi Refining Perfection Stage, one must merge all of the nine vortices."

"This allows the cultivator to transform their Qi from a gaseous state to a liquid state. This Qi is known as True Qi."

"From then on, a person can use True Qi to strengthen their body. That’s why each stage in the Foundation Establishment Realm can increase the strength by twenty power levels."

"By the way, Foundation Establishment Realm only has four stages: Early, Middle, Late, and Peak. Upon reaching Peak, one could improve their cultivation to Half-Stage Golden Core Realm."

"In this realm, the power level reaches 100. This is a realm that separates most of the cultivators from true powerhouses."

Hearing that, the cat clicked his tongue.

"That’s a long list of levels. I feel like I am playing a mmorpg in that guy’s computer. By the way, am I already at the Peak Stage of Foundation Establishment Realm?"

Tyler shook his head.

"You are a beast."

"Damn you, motherf**er!"

As soon as he said that, the cat started cursing him loudly.

Fortunately, Tyler quickly blocked his mouth.

"That’s how people see you in this world. They don’t see animals as animals. You are either a pet or a monster beast."

Upon hearing his explanation, the cat calmed down, and Tyler continued.

"Because of this, they have different cultivation methods and realms. If we cultivate our essence, you cultivate your body."

"First-Tier Beast can have the strength of up to 50 power levels. Second-Tier Beast’s power could go up to 200."

"Third-Tier Beast’s power could go up to 1000. Golden Core Cultivator also has similar power levels."

"I don’t know why this is the case."

"Beasts should be physically more dominant, but they also have a great advantage with their bloodline techniques at Second-Tier."

"They can also comprehend spells at Third-Tier."

The cat narrowed his eyes.

"All things in the universe must achieve balance. Yin and Yang, Light and Dark, Life and Death, Space and Time."

"Everything has balance. Even in my world, if there are too many Spirit Beings, their strength will decrease considerably."

"So, my strength is not at Second-Tier Beast level?"

Hearing that, Tyler nodded.

"Since your strength is mostly about physical strength, blood Qi and elements, the talisman won’t make simple mistakes."

The cat frowned.

"No, I can feel something else. As long as I keep absorbing the energy from the air, a strange energy in my blood will improve significantly."

"I believe this is the blood Qi."

Tyler nodded and added.

"The energy in the air is known as Spiritual Energy."

The cat turned silent for a moment before it spoke.

"Your power system is quite good. In my world, you are either born with the talent to see the Spirits or not."

"There is no in-between. Of course, some exceptions can later gain the ability to see spirits."

"But here, everybody could cultivate, get stronger, and change the landscape of this world."

Hearing that, Tyler replied.

"But with such development comes expectations. As the son of the Family Head, a lot of people had a strong belief in me."

"They firmly believed I could awaken a good spiritual root. But what exactly happened? I awakened the worst spiritual root."

"But at least you can cultivate, right?"

The cat interrupted.

Tyler paused and nodded.

"Yes, this is the greatest thing about cultivation. Although you might never succeed beyond certain limits, you can always become a cultivator."

The cat waved his paw.

"That’s enough! Tell me more about the spiritual root! Why don’t I have one?"

Tyler shrugged his shoulders.

"The monster beasts usually do not have a spiritual root. They can passively absorb the spiritual energy."

"The First-Tier and the Second-Tier Beasts even hunt other beasts to improve their strength."

"There is another group called Inhuman Beings. They are the children of a human and a beast."

"After reaching Fourth-Tier, Beasts can transform their bodies. It was said that a long time ago, a human fell in love with a beast."

"She was from a race of Phoenix while he was a talented and powerful cultivator. Their combination created a unique creature known as Inhuman."

"He had the instincts to eat other people as a human baby. This was cruel for humans to accept, which was why the name inhuman can to be."

"Of course, they can also learn from small age. Unlike Beasts, their intelligence is similar to humans."

"But they also inherit the talent of a Beast, allowing them to cultivate their body by passively absorbing the spiritual energy."

"They also awaken the Spiritual Root. This makes them anomalies and talented beings."

"Humans and Beasts feared their strength, so they started casting aside and even going as far as to kill any Inhuman they saw."

"This rule changed nearly five thousand years ago when an Inhuman with incredible power threatened to destroy all weak beings among humans and beasts."

"This was later used as a foundation to establish ’FIFY’ Law. FIFY means Future is for Youngsters."

"In a conflict between two young people, especially in a certain event, no one must interfere or hold a grudge against the participants."

"If the family member is found to use his superior power to cause any harm to the participant, he/she shall be crippled, and the entire family will be shamed."

"Of course, this doesn’t mean adults can’t interfere in a street battle. During a street fight, it is rather normal to call adults for help."

Hearing that, the cat stared at him speechlessly and said.

"Why do I need to know about your laws?"

"Because you are going to live with me. Unless you want to admit your status as my pet, you will be captured or killed by other humans."

The cat frowned.

"Tsk! Tsk! This is a problem. But I don’t have a choice in this. By the way, it has been so long, but I haven’t introduced myself, Meow."

"My name is Shiro. I will not be your babysitter."

Tyler rolled his eyes.

"My name is Tyler. I can take care of myself, especially now."

He turned his head away and sat down on a mattress. He took out a pill from his inventory.

Just as he was about to put it in his mouth, the cat spoke.

"By the way!"

Tyler opened his eyes with a displeased expression and asked.

"What is it?"

Shiro shyly looked away and asked.

"Is there a law about marrying three cats?"

Tyler felt speechless.

"Why do you need to marry three cats? Aren’t you a cat? Why do you need to follow rules for marriage?"

Shiro rolled his eyes and said.

"Just tell me if there is a law or not!"

Tyler sighed.

"Of course not! There is no law stating that you can only marry one cat. Why would there be a ridiculous law like this?"

Shiro mischievously smiled and said.

"Because your world seems a bit ancient. In my world, if you have a relationship with more than one cat, it will be called cheating."

"But in your world, if I have a relationship with more than one cat, it will be called a harem."

Tyler speechlessly covered his face and looked up.

His eyes blankly stared at the ceiling as he thought.

’God! Am I getting a lecture about the harem from a cat?’

Pa!

Tyler slapped himself in the cheeks and gave Shiro the middle finger before putting the pill in his mouth.

’I am not wasting my time talking about harem with my cat.’
