Next Day;
Tyler and Sean stood in front of the Kent Family mansion. Shiro was staying on Tyler’s shoulder.
His father had a proud expression on his face while his mother’s eyes were slightly red.
Tyler still remembered how his mother cried when his sister left to join the sect.
At that time, they were truly afraid that something would happen to Alice. After all, the competition within the sect was extremely fierce.
If they offended someone with a powerful background, it would only make things worse.
While joining the sect was an opportunity for a cultivation family like theirs, it really didn’t matter much.
It was only because of their talent that they thought of joining the sect, in the hopes of reaching the Golden Core Realm.
"Take care of yourself, Son!"
Maya held back her tears as she held Tyler’s arms.
"I will. Goodbye, Mom, Dad! Goodbye, everyone!"
Tyler waved at his family. His uncles, aunts, and cousins were all waving at him.
Sean waved his right hand, and a large cart made out of green jade appeared next to them.
There were two long seats opposite each other. Sean sat on the backseat, and Tyler quickly followed him.
The flying cart slowly floated into the air before shooting into the sky.
After a long silence, Tom pulled his wife into his embrace and said.
"Don’t worry, Tyler is blessed with good luck and unwavering determination! He will definitely succeed."
His words resonated with his brothers.
Previously, they had only seen his determination, but being able to awaken a Heavenly Spiritual Root after being struck by lightning was the sign of great luck.
So, with this kind of luck and determination, they firmly believed he would rise above others.
"I’m not worried."
Maya wiped away her tears as she stubbornly spoke.
Tom smiled, and everyone went back to the mansion.
—————————
In the flying cart, Tyler was thinking about his hometown. Although it was a small town, something was interesting about it.
There wasn’t any big conflict between cultivation families. This could also be because there was only one family of cultivators in their town.
But this world highly followed the rules set by the Super Domains.
Cultivation Families and cultivators could clash, but their fights must not affect the ordinary or innocent people.
But it’s exactly because of this rule that the competition between families and sects becomes extremely fierce.
Kent Family was lucky that their town had only one cultivation family as big as theirs.
This town only had a population of ten thousand people, so it wasn’t big.
"Elder Sean, where is Golden Dawn Sect?"
Tyler curiously asked.
Sean turned towards him and asked.
"How much do you know about Sidad Country?"
Tyler shook his head.
"Not much!"
Sean nodded and spoke.
"Then, I will give you a small overview of our country. First of all, there are a total of four sects: Golden Dawn Sect, Pure Haven Sect, War Dragon Sect, and Supreme Blood Sect."
"Out of these four sects, the Supreme Blood Sect has the highest number of students, while Pure Haven Sect has the lowest number of students."
"Our Golden Dawn Sect has around twenty thousand students. Every year, two or three thousand students join."
"Every year, fifteen hundred students die or just give up being a cultivator. So, only around five hundred students stay in the sect."
"Out of those five hundred, fewer than a hundred manage to improve to the Inner Court within a year."
"The other sects have a similar situation. The mission difficulty is highly based on their position in the sect."
"Whether it is Outer Court or Inner Court or Core Court, there is a ranking for every student."
"Do you know about Youth Ranking?"
Hearing that question, Tyler hurriedly nodded his head.
"Yes, Youth Ranking is a scaling of teenagers based on their cultivation realm and their age."
Sean nodded.
"That’s right, but Sect’s ranking is based on their strength. There are two ways to enter the ranking."
"First is a direct challenge to anyone who has already entered the ranking. The second method is challenging the Tower of Dawn."
"Regardless of which method you choose, you must win and showcase your power so that they can give you a ranking."
"Once your ranking is settled, you will start getting missions based on your ranking."
"These missions help you earn points which can later be used to buy resources, techniques, spells, weapons, talismans and various other necessary items."
"But this means you will be in a deep trouble."
Hearing that, Tyler asked.
"What do you mean?"
"Each court has its own ranking system. Bronze Ranking, Silver Ranking and Golden Ranking."
"If you enter the Inner Court, you can only join Silver Ranking, but the cultivators of Silver Ranking are at least the seventh to Eighth Stage of the Qi Refining Realm."
"In other words, you have to defeat them and get the ranking; otherwise, you will not receive any missions."
"That’s also why you need to become the Supreme Elder’s disciple. Only then would you be able to improve your cultivation without doing any missions."
"Of course, there will be a compulsory mission every six months. So once you enter the sect, you have six months to reach the seventh stage."
"For someone with Heavenly Spiritual Root, this shouldn’t be difficult."
Tyler nodded. Indeed! With his current talent, reaching the seventh stage would at most take a month.
And that’s not counting the resources he was gonna receive from the Supreme Elder.
Tyler looked at Sean and asked.
"Elder Sean, it seems like Heavenly Spiritual Root is extremely important for any sect. Although they are powerful, they shouldn’t be that important, right?"
"I mean for the Supreme Elder to take me as his personal student without understanding my character and my other talents."
Sean gave him a surprised look and said.
"I never thought you could think about something so complicated."
He nodded and continued.
"Yes, if it were before the formation of Super Domains, you would still have to show your worth before being chosen by the Nascent Soul Cultivators."
"But after the formation of Super Domains, many weaker countries are barely producing one or two youngsters with Heavenly Spiritual Root a year."
"Considering how easy it is to kill those younglings before they grow up, these countries could barely produce any new Nascent Soul Cultivators."
He paused for a moment and said.
"You could even say those Super Domains do not want weaker countries to get stronger because they have a complete grip over the stronger countries."
"In other words, those stronger countries are nothing more than puppets. OF course, the strong wouldn’t let others control them so easily."
"I can’t tell you much about this, but you must understand one thing. If you want to control your destiny, you have to utilize that talent to get stronger."
"Heavenly Spiritual Root represents unlimited potential. As long as you don’t die, you can keep improving your cultivation."
Hearing that, Tyler couldn’t help but scratch his head.
"But, Elder Sean, is Super Domain really that bad? Isn’t it because of them that there have not been battles between cultivators that will affect other weaker cultivators?"
Sean suddenly became serious and said.
"Tyler, cultivation is a journey fraught with dangers. If someone dies because of your strength, they can only blame themselves for their weakness."
"Once you rise above others, you will realize most of the cultivators are no different than ants."
Tyler frowned, but his expression was normal. He simply nodded, but it was clear that neither Shiro nor Tyler was satisfied with his words.
Tyler could accept the situation of weaker countries if peace was maintained.
If the innocent cultivators weren’t harmed, he truly didn’t think Super Domains were bad for this world.
But from the perspective of Sean, they were controlling too much, not allowing any powerful cultivator to rise.
While this might seem like a problem, there was a thin line between controlled chaos and true peace.
True Peace was impossible to achieve. As long as living beings carved something, there would always be war.
Especially in a world where strength represented status, and supernatural events were just ordinary things.
In this kind of world, controlled chaos was actually the best.
The cultivators didn’t stop competing, fighting and improving, but the people below were never harmed.
But without getting a proper understanding of this world, Tyler wouldn’t make up his mind about anything.
"So, Elder Sean, what about cities? What are the best cities in the country? Are there powerful cultivation families outside the four sects?"
Tyler immediately changed the topic.
"Of course, there are. In fact, Youth Ranking is highly connected to the powerful families in the Sidad Country."
"Even if those cultivators join the sect, most of them come from top-class families. Why? Not because of talent."
"After all, spiritual roots are the result of one’s luck and connection with Heaven. So, what truly makes those youngsters special is their awakening."
"Spiritual Root awakens at the age of fifteen, not because it is fixed at that age but because the body and meridians are strong enough to handle the spiritual energy strain."
"The strain on the meridian is what kept you from cultivating for twenty hours, didn’t it? That’s the reason why background is also important."
