I Summoned Demon and Angel in Cultivation World

Chapter 16: Heavenly Dao Oath

"Alright!"

Tyler nodded.

He could tell Shiro about this. In fact, he didn’t need to explain things with this much clarity.

But he did so they wouldn’t have any suspicion about his secrets. After all, right now, he possessed treasures that could change his life.

Like Thunder Dragon Blood Essence!

If he could find a proper body-cultivation technique, he could absorb this blood essence to obtain lightning power alongside its bloodline.

As for why he didn’t absorb it now? Even with his Demon King Bloodline, most of its power would be lost if he didn’t use it for body cultivation.

This was a Fifth-Tier treasure, something that cultivators at the Spiritual Transformation Realm would love to have.

Of course, he didn’t need to wait until reaching that level. He planned to consume it upon reaching the peak of the Foundation Establishment Realm.

Before that, he had to use the advantage of the Demon King Bloodline.

It was already making him as strong as a Mid-Stage First-Tier Beast, which was equivalent to a Sixth Stage Qi Refining Realm cultivator.

With this kind of bloodline, he wasn’t in any immediate need for improvement.

Instead, he might as well put that effort into learning new spells, techniques, and improving his cultivation.

"Then, I will wait for you. Prepare a room for my rest!"

Although he didn’t need to rest, Sean still requested a room.

"Yes, of course! Please, follow me!"

Tom immediately took him to a guest room.

Tyler returned to his room.

"Shiro, I told Elder Shen about your powers being sealed and about the technique you gave me."

"He told me you have to make an oath and follow me to the Golden Dawn Sect; otherwise, he will leave you in the forest."

Hearing his words, Shiro gave him a confused look before his experienced mind immediately understood what Tyler was saying.

Although he knew there was a Sound Blocking Array in this room, he still followed Tyler’s idea.

"Okay! Let’s go!"

Shiro nodded, licked his leg before following Tyler out of his room. Tyler took him to the guest room where his father had just left.

Tyler knocked on the door and shouted from outside.

"Elder Shen, Shiro is willing to make an oath, but what kind of oath will it be?"

The door opened, and Elder Shen walked out.

"Oh? I didn’t expect it to agree so quickly. Of course, it will be a Heavenly Dao Oath. You just have to take an oath to never harm Tyler and follow his suggestions."

Elder Shen wanted to say command, but he quickly changed his words when he realized the power of this cat.

Even though it was sealed, he could sense the power of Law within this cat’s body.

And it wasn’t a simple comprehension of an element. It was a mastery.

"Alright! I, Shiro, the Spirit Cat, with Heavenly Dao as my witness, make a promise to never harm Tyler Kent under any circumstances and will follow his suggestions."

Shiro nonchalantly released his Qi and made an oath.

The moment this Qi resonated with his oath, it suddenly turned into a bright symbol of lightning and got plastered onto Shiro’s forehead.

After making the oath, Shiro was surprised for a moment. The only reason why he made this oath was that he couldn’t harm Tyler.

But he never expected Heavenly Dao to resonate with his Qi so quickly.

"This is the first time I have made a Heavenly Dao Oath. Does heaven have so much time?"

Shen nodded.

"Of course, Heaven exists everywhere. The reason why cultivators do not take the Heavenly Dao Oath so lightly is because of its punishment."

"Normally, a cultivator has to go through Lightning Tribulation to reach the Golden Core Realm."

"But if they break their oath, the power of lightning tribulation could increase anywhere from ten times to a hundred times."

"From now on, you can identify yourself as Tyler’s protector. You don’t have to do anything, but with this status, you can enter the sect."

Shiro suddenly pointed his finger towards a certain direction and asked.

"A while ago, I sensed a powerful presence roaming around this town. Was he a part of your sect?"

Shen looked surprised, but he quickly nodded.

"Yes, he is the Supreme Elder of the Golden Dawn Sect. He was investigating those beings who appeared out of nowhere."

"Thankfully, I came here to receive Tyler. I was able to learn more about those two from Tyler."

"This will certainly surprise the Supreme Elder. By the way, Tyler, you can take the Supreme Elders as your teacher."

"You can also take Sect Leader as your teacher, but he was only a pseudo-Nascent Soul Cultivator while two Supreme Elders are real Nascent Soul Cultivators."

Hearing that, Tyler paused for a moment and asked.

"Do I have to take a teacher?"

Sean paused and shook his head.

"You don’t have to do anything. But if you take Supreme Elder as your teacher, he will give you a lot of resources."

"Even if you have the Heavenly Spiritual Root, you can only start as an Inner Court Student, nothing more."

"You will receive some benefits, but you will also have to do a few tasks."

"For example, as an Inner Court Disciple, you have to participate in competitions against other sect students."

"Without those resources, you can’t reach the level to fight those students. If you lose, your status as an inner court disciple will only get worse."

"If you lose many times, you will also lose that status. So, think about it!"

Hearing that, Tyler nodded and soon left with Shiro.

Sean shook his head and walked inside the room. He could feel that Tyler wasn’t completely convinced about taking a teacher.

But he could understand Tyler’s situation.

Before awakening his Light Spiritual Root, he only had Five Elemental Spiritual Roots, but he was also the son of the Family Head.

Being his son, he had to bear the pressure of the Young Master, never back down from a challenge, and always improve his cultivation.

In fact, Tyler was able to reach the third stage with his spiritual root within just three years, proving his hard work.

Now that he had a Heavenly Spiritual Root, he might not want to take that pressure again.

Being the disciple of the Supreme Elder meant he would be challenged by even more people, forced to participate in even more dangerous tasks.

Although he would also receive more protection and resources, it would also mean giving up a large part of his freedom.

Unfortunately, resources are the most important thing in this world.

He firmly believed Tyler would understand the importance of resources and become the student of the Supreme Elder.

————————

"So, are you planning on taking Supreme Elder as your teacher?"

Shiro asked curiously while sitting on his shoulder.

Tyler shook his head.

"No, even if I lack resources, I will just find them myself."

Hearing his words, Shiro paused for a moment and said.

"But you need status."

Tyler paused.

"Why?"

"Did you forget that being?"

"Are you saying I should use the status as Supreme Elder’s student to fight him?"

"No, you need that status to fight his minions. Didn’t you tell me how Selena attacked you?"

Tyler continued walking without replying to Shiro. At this moment, they were outside his room, so he didn’t want to make any comment about that.

He wasn’t sure how much Sean could hear. He didn’t want to take any risks.

But he did contemplate Shiro’s words. Because they had some merits to it.

If he wanted to start a fight with Selena or even Chronos, he would need an army. They weren’t like traditional cultivators.

Both had armies, and both had taken the position of the leader to a certain degree.

Selena might not have, but Chronos definitely did as a Demon King.

After coming to this world, Chronos would definitely find himself an army or followers.

This was ingrained in his blood.

Wait! Chronos didn’t have the Demon King Bloodline anymore. So, would he still do that?

Tyler was confused for a moment, but then he realized even he was affected slightly by the bloodline.

So how much was Chronos affected, especially since he had this bloodline for millions of years?

’It seems like I do need to find a leadership position in the sect. Only then would I have the power to fight against them.’

’I think I should take one of the Supreme Elders as my teacher. This way I will gain status in the sect much faster.’

’That means I will also have to live up to the expectation of the Supreme Elder’s student, but I should be able to do that, right?’

He thought to himself as he walked into his parents’ room.

"Dad, Mom, do you need me to prepare anything for sister?"

But just as he entered the room, he froze as he saw his parents hugging each other.

Countless thoughts rang in his mind, but he quickly threw them out of his ears, and only one thought remained.

’Well, they must’ve been super happy for me.’
