I Summoned Demon and Angel in Cultivation World

Chapter 35: Prem’s Pride

"What?"

Everyone screamed at the same time, almost deafening the entire court.

"What do you mean?"

Tyler couldn’t help but feel confused as he shouted at Prem.

"I used Second Level Wind Law."

Prem calmly replied before pulling the spear into his spatial ring.

"When I came to challenge you, I wanted to use the same strength as yours to defeat you, but I was forced to use the Second Level of Wind Law."

"But you haven’t even used the Light Element."

Hearing his words, Tyler paused.

Indeed! He hadn’t used the Light Element yet.

"Alright! But once I reach Foundation Establishment Realm, let’s fight at our full strength."

Tyler nodded.

"Humph! Hopefully, you won’t make me suppress my strength again."

He said as he turned around, the corner of his lips rising.

Although he lost this battle, he managed to tame his resentment and also realized the truth.

Tyler was a genius. The Supreme Elder was truly waiting for a genius of this caliber.

But that didn’t mean he was nothing.

With his current strength and his family’s resources, he was sure he could stay ahead of Tyler.

And that’s all it mattered.

After all, in this world, potential was only important inside the sect. Outside, it was all about strength.

This was true in Tyler’s case.

When he joined the sect, he was only at the fifth stage of the Qi Refining Realm, but he instantly entered the Inner Court.

Even so, people didn’t look at him with respect. They were only in awe of his talent.

Heavenly Spiritual Root was hard to come by in a century. Tyler’s awakening could be considered a surprise.

Of course, that didn’t mean Heavenly Spiritual Root awakeners didn’t exist in Tyler’s time.

There were still three more sects, and these sects should’ve had secret disciples.

And considering there was no other disciple with Heavenly Spiritual Root in his sect, it could be from other sects.

When Tyler’s spiritual root was awakened, it gained a lot of attention because it was Five Elemental Spiritual Root while he was the Young Master of the Kent Family.

On the other hand, if other powerful families awaken the Heavenly Spiritual Root, they would definitely keep it a secret until their children grew stronger.

Or, join the other sects.

Tyler didn’t know much about the other sects, only believing they had to have a student with Heavenly Spiritual Root.

Tyler’s case was different because he didn’t awaken it through normal awakening. It was an accident.

And since there was no family that could threaten the Kent Family in their small town, his father didn’t hesitate to spread the news.

Because once the news was spread throughout the town, it was bound to reach the ears of the other sects.

And that’s exactly what happened.

Tyler joined the sect and became the student of the Supreme Elder.

Prem might not have liked it before, but he came to understand the Supreme Elder’s decision during this battle.

Just as Prem walked down, another person walked up. He was a tall man with a bulky body and a square face.

He looked wore a sleeveless uniform while walking towards Tyler.

"Recover your strength! I want to fight you at your peak."

He coldly spoke to Tyler while taking out a similar talisman to Prem’s. He slapped it on his chest, and his cultivation was sealed.

Tyler could no longer feel any pressure from him like before.

"Mogard! Are you sure you want to challenge Tyler Kent?"

The elder turned towards him and asked.

Mogard nodded.

"I just want to prove my strength.

Prove his strength? Against Tyler?

That sounded ridiculous, but the elders understood why Mogard was doing this.

He wanted to join the core court, but the only way was to become the student of a golden core elder.

Although this sounded a bit strange, Tyler did possess the strength of a genius and the influence of his teacher.

If Mogard defeated him fair and square, that would make his name shine brightly in the sect.

But if he lost, then it would backfire on him.

It was truly a gamble.

Tyler couldn’t help but feel speechless. At least, with Prem, there was a reason for a battle.

Mogard just wanted to step on his head and raise his reputation. This angered Tyler, but he sat down without saying anything.

He closed his eyes and started recovering his Qi.

After two minutes, he stood up and walked in front of Mogard.

"Are you two ready?"

The golden core elder asked.

Both nodded, and he dropped his hand.

"Start the battle!"

Mogard clenched his fist and threw a punch straight towards Tyler’s face.

Tyler didn’t pull out his sword this time. Instead, he gathered an impressive amount of Qi into his fist and punched back.

Bang!

Their punches created a fissure in the air before releasing an impact that sent both of them back.

While Tyler flew, somersaulting a few times in mid-air before landing on his feet, Mogard was simply pushed down.

But there was an unpleasant expression on his face. He looked at Tyler with anger and said.

"Where is your sword?"

"You know what? I don’t think I need it."

Tyler grinned. He placed his fists together, cracking his knuckles as he spoke.

"Arrogance!"

Mogard released an impressive golden Qi that acted like a heavy mountain.

Tyler felt the pressure on his shoulder, trying to push him to the ground, but he forcefully stood up.

He stared at Mogard and released his Qi. Unlike before, his purple Blood Qi burst out, creating a visually striking impact against the golden Qi.

"What? He is a Body Cultivator?"

The inner court students shouted in shock when they felt his Blood Qi. It was impressive, almost as powerful as a normal body cultivator.

"Humph! That bastard...He was still holding back."

Prem angrily glared at the podium, but he quickly realized something.

’Then again, even if he had used this power, its impact would only be significant in the Qi Refining Realm.’
