Tyler nodded his head as he listened to the story. It was indeed different than what he imagined.

Then again, if he were given two more chances, he might’ve thought of the same thing.

Mira gave him a strange look and said.

"Little guy, you have quite a lot of difficulties. Ben is already a Foundation Established Cultivator. Even for your teacher’s prestige, you can’t lose to him."

He went straight to the light attribute bookshelf where he found quite a few books, almost only four books.

Of course, the bookshelf wasn’t empty. There were other spells as well, but they were written on a scroll rather than a book.

He took the book, and suddenly a timer started at the exact place where he raised that book.

He quickly turned the page and started reading the introduction of the book.

Before the timer went to zero, he placed the book back.

Golden Light Creation Technique!

It was a third-tier technique created to transform the Qi into golden light energy.

This made sense.

Mastering higher-tier spells would be extremely difficult.

Jonathan simply believed that, as his student, he should be capable of mastering them, while Mira believed one should take it slow.

What advice should Tyler take?

He already had spells of the first tier, and he already had plans for light-based spells.

He returned to the second floor and found the Five Elemental attributes bookshelf.

Wood Rebirth condenses high vitality energy that allows the user to heal their injuries and regain their stamina mid-battle.

These spells were perfect for his future.

Although he wanted to find a movement spell for himself, he realized the Wind Controlling Spell was already good enough for him.

Although it didn’t increase the speed by a huge margin, it did give the user immense control over their bodies and the wind flow.

This meant the cultivator could use this spell in the middle of a battle while using other spells or martial arts.

In his case, it would be sword art.

Thinking about it, Tyler left the second floor and went to the ground floor.

He walked up to Elder Mira’s desk, but there was a person in front of him, so he waited.

After that person left, it was his turn. Tyler placed the book and the scrolls on the desk.

She moved her hand, and Tyler placed his badge on her palm.

She released her Qi and marked a part of the badge.

"Congratulations! From now on, you are officially a student of the Golden Dawn Sect."

"From now on, every time you come here, you need to spend contribution points to buy spells or techniques."

"First Tier Spell costs ten contribution points, but First Tier Technique costs a hundred contribution points."
