Tyler walked out of the library with a content smile on his face. He was truly glad that he had joined the Golden Dawn Sect.
"It seems like you found what you came for."
Joseph walked forward and chuckled upon seeing his smile.
"Yeah! I never thought there was such an impressive technique. By the way, to what extent am I allowed to discuss the techniques and spells?"
Tyler asked.
Joseph paused for a moment and said.
"As long as you don’t pass down those techniques and spells to others, you can discuss basic things like what it does, its advantages, and how strong it makes you."
"I see! This rule is stricter than the techniques and spells found in the market."
Tyler said as he followed Joseph towards a certain mountain.
"Of course, the market only sells techniques and spells that are allowed to be sold by the creator or owner of the technique."
Before Tyler could ask anything, Joseph continued.
"The owner of the technique can be its creator, but it doesn’t have to be. Where do you think these vast numbers of techniques and spells come from?"
Tyler’s eyes lit up.
"Is it the accumulation of the past generation?"
Joseph nodded.
"That’s it! Many of the techniques are created by the Golden Core Cultivators, Nascent Soul Cultivators, and those above."
"Foundation Established Cultivators and Qi Refining Cultivators have the highest population, but they can’t create a spell or even a technique."
"For something to be called a spell or technique, it must be learned by others. That’s why most people spend money to buy spell than martial arts."
"At the end of the day, martial arts are basically the utilization of Qi. If one has enough talent, they could replicate it without learning it."
Joseph raised his hand, and a large amount of Qi gathered at his index finger.
[Star Gazing Finger]
He murmured as he released an immense blast of white energy that tore through a nearby stone.
"This is a martial art I learned from the library. When I found out about this, I was extremely excited since I’ve never learned a martial art as powerful as this."
"But after learning about it, I realized it was just a basic application of Qi with force accumulation added to it."
"It’s just gathering Qi at such an intense rate that it can tear through a metal plate. So, I felt stupid when I found out about this."
Hearing that, Tyler quickly asked.
"What about Sword Art?"
Joseph gave him a surprised look and said.
"Sword Arts are similar, but they have one layer of difficulty added to them thanks to the Sword Path."
"After all, there is a limit to how much a sharp sword can cut even with the best of the posture."
"If you reach the Foundation Establishment Realm, your Qi transforms into True Qi, where it can defend against a sharp sword with ease."
"If they add a defensive martial art or spell on top of that, it becomes impossible to cut through without becoming a proper swordsman."
"Unfortunately, that’s all I know about swordsmanship. If you want to know more, you have to try the ground floor of the library."
"I tried swordsmanship when I was learning Golden Sword Spell, but it turns out to be completely different than normal Golden Sword Technique."
Hearing that, Tyler nodded.
He understood learning Sword Art would be difficult, even with a powerful sword technique.
But swordsmanship was a path he had chosen to follow. So, it was impossible to give up so early.
Soon, they reached a tall mountain where Joseph took him to an empty cave. There was a large door that he used his badge to open.
"This is your residential home."
Then, he took him inside. This place wasn’t that bad, but it didn’t have proper lighting.
There was a large living room with a bedroom on the side and a small kitchen and toilet further away.
Looking at this place, Tyler asked.
"So, if I just use that array, the lighting, airflow, and other problems will be solved."
Joseph nodded.
"That’s how they are designed. By the way, it is much cheaper to eat in the Dining Hall than buy everything and cook here."
"Of course, there are some foods that people love to make themselves. Tea is a common example."
"You need to get a lot of tea leaves. Since you are the student of the Supreme Elder, try to get premium tea leaves."
"By the way, you can also hire a maid to manage everything for you."
Hearing that, Tyler asked.
"I also have a sister and a cousin who are advancing towards the Foundation Establishment Realm."
"Once they do, can you put their rooms next to mine?"
Joseph gave him a surprised look and nodded.
"I will."
’Wow! I thought he came from a small family, but he already has two people in the sect, and both are proceeding to the Foundation Establishment Realm.’
’This is quite important. I should find more information about him.’
"Do you have any more questions?"
Joseph asked.
"No!"
Tyler shook his head, and Joseph left.
Tyler quickly took out the Qi Detection and Storage Array, infusing his Qi into it.
Suddenly, a bright green light burst out of the array plate, followed by several flags attached to the walls lit.
The green light spread all over the cave before it slowly dimmed until it was almost invisible to the naked eye.
"Finally!"
Tyler took out another array plate and infused it with his Qi. Suddenly, the light on the ceiling turned on.
At the same time, he felt a window opening above the cave’s front door.
He remembered the old man’s instructions and said.
"Close the front door!"
Suddenly, the door to the cave closed. Those doors were quite big, and they were controlled by a mechanism attached to the walls.
After settling these things, he placed those array plates inside his bedroom and took out the Beast Storage Bag.
As he opened the bag, Shiro jumped out.
"That was freaking suffocating. I will never enter that thing again."
Shiro screamed as soon as he left the bag.
Then, he looked around.
"So, this is your new home. Looks like an ancient cave."
"It’s a cave."
Tyler nodded.
"So, he wasn’t kidding. Tsk! Tsk! You went from living in a mansion to living in a cave, Meow. Hahahaha! This is the funniest thing I’ve ever seen."
Shiro couldn’t help but burst into laughter.
Tyler’s expression darkened upon hearing that laughter, but he chose to ignore the cat and focus on making a bed.
He took out the bed, table, mattresses, and other things that he brought from home.
In less than two hours, he had completely decorated his new home.
"Stay here! I will bring you some food."
He said before leaving the cave. This time, he wore the uniform of the sect.
Tyler went to the Dining Hall. He saw a lot of students eating and talking to each other.
Although he wanted to make new friends, he also felt an urgency to start his cultivation.
So instead of making any friends, he ordered a lot of food and paid with ten contribution points and left
The payment system reminded him of Earth’s digital transactions.
He returned to his cave and took out the bags of food. He put them on a table where he unfolded two chairs.
One for him and another for Shiro.
He placed some milk, fish, and rice in front of Shiro before serving several portions of meat, rice, veggies, soup, juice, and dumplings for himself.
"You are not being fair here."
Shiro pointed his claw towards Tyler, but Tyler ignored him.
"Humph! I need an extra glass of milk."
Shiro picked up the glass and started licking it.
Tyler enjoyed the food. It wasn’t as good as home, but it was a delicious meal.
After washing the plates and drying them, he left the kitchen and went to his bedroom.
In bed, he saw Shiro lying on the bed.
Thud!
Tyler fell onto the bed, feeling drowsy and tired.
Although he didn’t fight or do a lot of work, he was mentally tired after learning so many things.
"Hey Tyler, do you feel worried about the future?"
"How do you know?"
"Humph! I am not your ordinary cat. Do you think I don’t know how you feel conflicted about the sect’s view and super domains’ actions?"
"Am I that easy to read?"
"No, but you have a strange similarity to that dimwit from my Earth. It’s not charm or talent. It comes from deep within your soul."
"You feel bad for the sect because they are being suppressed, but you also feel like Super Domains are doing a good thing, maintaining security in the world."
"Don’t think too much! Just improve your cultivation, and you will be able to solve any problem. At least, that’s how I see this world."
"Hey, are you listening? I’m talking to you."
Shiro pouted as he saw Tyler falling into deep sleep.
"Tsk! Are you feeling so guilty about releasing the Demon King and that Angel to this world that you feel responsible for everything?"
"You are even more foolish than that brat."
