From Trash to Treasure: The Sinclair Family's Beloved Genius

Chloe Sinclair stared at the Exquisite Board in her hands for less than thirty seconds before picking up a transparent puzzle piece and placing it right in the center.

The camera immediately cut to the Exquisite Board.

Without a moment’s hesitation, Chloe Sinclair would grab a piece and place it precisely where it belonged.

The entire process was swift and decisive. While everyone else was still stunned, Chloe Sinclair was the first to hit the "Complete" button.

Not only had the audience failed to process what happened, but even the four mentors seated on the panel hadn’t anticipated it.

"How could she be so fast? Does she not even need to think?"

One of them, a biology professor named Daisy Young, gasped. The way she looked at Chloe Sinclair instantly changed.

"Who says she wasn’t thinking?" Landon Sinclair suddenly interjected.

The four mentors turned to look at Landon Sinclair again, clearly wanting an explanation.

"Didn’t Number Nine pause for a few seconds earlier?"

"Well..."

Mr. Sutton suddenly recalled that was indeed the case, but it still left him shocked.

He had previously thought that the puzzle involved a fair bit of luck, but this proved to him that skill could play an even bigger part.

"This young lady’s performance is quite impressive."

Mr. Sutton stroked his chin, his eyes filled with admiration.

Landon Sinclair’s eyes narrowed slightly, giving him a dangerous look.

Howard Thorne nodded in agreement. "The Exquisite Board might have an element of luck to it, but this young lady succeeded entirely on her own skill."

"Her reasoning and spatial abilities are exceptional. In just ten seconds, she had already calculated every possibility."

As he spoke, a thoughtful glint appeared in his eyes and he murmured to himself, ’I wonder if the young lady has any interest in mathematics.’

"She doesn’t," Landon Sinclair stated flatly.

Howard Thorne: "..."

’That was random.’

Howard Thorne huffed, a hint of defiance in his tone. "I’ll just go ask her myself after the show."

Landon Sinclair’s expression darkened. He turned his head and ignored Howard Thorne.

Back with the contestants, after Chloe Sinclair completed the Exquisite Board, the other participants also began finishing one after another.

Chloe Sinclair was still ranked first.

In second place was the quiet Vincent.

Jolie Yates, however, hadn’t performed as well this time, landing in fifth place.

For the sake of the viewing audience, the host tried to chat with the contestants. However, they didn’t know how to play along, and pretty much everyone ignored the host.

Fortunately, Chloe Sinclair had a decent "variety show sense" and played along with several of the host’s jokes.

With someone finally livening up the atmosphere, the other contestants’ moods improved considerably.

They became much more relaxed when talking with the host.

The show *Genius* was unscripted. After all, the contestants were all amateurs, and the director always just asked them to act naturally. As a result, the production quality of *Genius* wasn’t always the best.

But this time, the two people on the production team who felt the most relieved were probably the host and the director.

The host had been with the show for ten years and had developed a special fondness for *Genius*.

But since the contestants were always amateurs, she had presided over her fair share of awkward silences.

She never expected a contestant to play along with her jokes one after another. And not only that—because of Chloe Sinclair, the entire mood had become immeasurably more lively.
