"What are you doing here?" Yvonne White stopped and asked, "You’re not here for Janice, are you?"

Benjamin Taylor was stunned. He had not expected himself to bump into Yvonne and was about to speak, but Yvonne continued, "She’s not in the hospital. By the way, has she contacted you recently?"

Benjamin paused and said, "I just came back from overseas."

"Oh, then forget it."

She continued to walk out.

Benjamin wanted to stop her, but something flashed through his mind and so he decided not to. He turned and continued to walk into the hospital.

As soon as Yvonne got out of the hospital, she went straight to the nearby police station.

"I want to report a case. I haven’t been able to contact my friend for a week." Yvonne had walked into the police station and reported directly to the police. The policeman inquired some basic information, then asked. "Have you been to her home or to her relatives’?"

Yvonne was stunned. She had only thought of reporting to the police and this had not crossed her mind. However, they could forget about her relatives and she was the only friend. Speaking of which, she had never been to Janice Gladwell’s new home, so she naturally did not know where it was.

She could only shake her head.

The policeman was speechless. "Miss, this is the police station. Please take it seriously. Please look into it carefully before reporting any disappearances."

Just as Benjamin left, Yvonne had changed into a nurse’s uniform. She refused to believe that someone else can call the shots within her territory when she was the one working in the hospital. So she borrowed a set of nurse’s uniform from a nurse on duty and put it on. After everything was done, she went straight to the ward. This time, there was no obstacle at all as she walked in.

When she carried the nurse’s tray into the room, Christopher had his eyes closed and was resting in peace.

Yvonne subconsciously glanced around the room and sure enough, she did not see Janice Gladwell. She walked over and waved in front of his eyes. When she saw that he was really asleep, she pushed his arm and said.

"Hey, your wife is missing. You are still sleeping?"

Christopher stared at her with a puzzled look, as if he did not know what was going on.

"What wife? Exactly what did you come here for?"

Yvonne was stunned. She stared at the man in front of her, in a daze. "What’s going on?"

"Are you out of your mind?"

Just as she was about to ask something, the door of the ward opened from the outside. Sophie Valen walked in and saw Yvonne standing in front of the bed dressed in a nurse’s uniform. Her face turned pale and she quickly rushed forward.

"Why are you here again? Get out."

She seemed to be warning Yvonne.

Seeing that she had been discovered, there was no need for Yvonne to stay any longer. She picked up the nurse’s tray and said, "Why are you being so fierce? If you want me to leave, then I will leave."
