Janice and Christopher looked at each other and said, "Grandpa, we don’t have any plans for today, so we want to keep you company."

Old Mr. Allson didn’t say anything more. He just told to be careful when they handle the boxes.

One by one, Janice opened up all the boxes around them. She found that they were filled with something similar to a sealed document.

She was confused. "These are..."

Old Mr. Allson stopped and looked over. He said, "These are manuscripts that she wrote before she passed away. I’m afraid that they will go moldy. So I take them out to dry every year."

The question before this might have been spontaneous, but this question was obviously per-planned.

It was the first time she had experienced being set-up at the warm-up press briefing. After all, this would affect the ratings of the show. "How dare you do this to the show?"

Denise stared at her angry face and said innocently, "I don’t know why they suddenly asked you those questions. Perhaps they think that they’ll get some coverage if they sensationalize things."

"What’s the point?" Janice sneered. "Why would anyone be interested in my private life? Shouldn’t they focus the questions on the program itself?"

Denise frowned.

So what if you were personally selected for the show thanks to your relationship with Benjamin? That’s a useful ability on its own. You know how to involve yourself with the right people. Janice felt slightly comforted after listening to Lucy.
