Shang Hexing was hanging his head; he had heard her entering, deliberately keeping silent. Now, hearing her call him, he stayed silent for a long while before slowly lifting his head. His depressed demeanor didn’t show the slightest bit of disarray, still noble.

He bent his legs slightly, leaning back, the chains clanging as he looked at her for a long moment before saying,

“You’re here.”

Wen Zhi pretended to stabilize herself, but her tone became quite playful as she spoke, “Do you like the arrangement I made for you?”

Shang Hexing shook his head.

He even very calmly told her the reason he disliked it: “I think it would be better the other way around.”
