Doctor Chen halted in front of Chen Jinhai, glanced inside, and then handed over the form he was holding to him.

When Chen Jinhai took the form, his heartbeat skipped, fearing it must be something serious because the doctor’s expression was so grave.

He looked down at the characters on the form.

"Mr. Shang, the results are out." The doctor walked up to Shang Hexing, adjusted his glasses on the bridge of his nose, and prepared to deliver the news with a solemn and serious expression.

Shang Hexing’s face was solemn as he motioned for the doctor to pause; he was helping Wen Zhi lie down to rest, knowing that she would not handle bad news well.

She listened to him and lay down obediently.

Shang Hexing stood up and took the form from the doctor, "Let’s talk outside."

The doctor thought, he just came in and now he wants to go back outside, shouldn’t this matter be discussed in front of this lady?!

Well, the private matters of important people are hard to predict.

After the doctor left, Chen Jinhai stood anxiously next to the bed.

"Zhizhi." Wen Zhi propped herself up from the bed, slowly sitting up.

Seeing Wen Zhi getting up, Chen Jinhai hurried to support her, "Miss Wen, you should be lying down and resting."

She saw the tall figure of Shang Hexing, clutching the medical form, striding towards her.

Shang Hexing approached the bedside, leaned over to wipe the tears from Wen Zhi’s face, then drew her into an embrace.

The warm and strong embrace made Wen Zhi choke up, her voice wavering, "Am I..."

"You are pregnant."

These four words came from Shang Hexing’s mouth, loud enough for Wen Zhi to hear clearly, and even Chen Jinhai heard them.
