Wen Zhi thought that Shang Hexing had allowed Chen Zhu to come in because he was already dressed and out of bed!

He stated his plans briefly and precisely, letting her know.

The hug came so unexpectedly that by the time Wen Zhi realized it, she was already nestled in his embrace, her nose filled with his scent, a light mix of cold fir and pine fragrance.

"Chen Zhu must be urging you." She reminded him.

"Not in a hurry." He said.

Wen Zhi knew he was waiting for a response from her, so he could leave with peace of mind.

She didn’t disappoint him, leaning into his embrace she said, "I’ll wait for you at the hotel to come back."

With her words, Shang Hexing finally let go.

Wen Zhi was about to wave goodbye when Shang Hexing pressed her hand down, then pinned it behind her, forcing her to straighten her back and naturally lift her chin up.

In the next instant, his kiss landed on her lips.
