Every person is different, and so is their reaction to pregnancy.

Some pregnant women go from conception to birth without any issues, like nothing’s wrong, while others endure hardships, their appearance worsens and their figures change dramatically. Some get nauseous and vomit to the point where they need to be hospitalized to save their lives...

After finishing her coffee, Wen Zhi shared these facts with Meng Fan.

However, before last night, Meng Fan didn’t know that Rong Huaishen had always arranged for bodyguards to protect her.

Yesterday, after her test, her first reaction was to throw the pregnancy test stick into the trash can to ’destroy the evidence’. But soon, she picked it up again and hid it in the cabinet beneath her dressing table.

She watched Rong Huaishen’s reaction closely.

At that moment, Meng Fan had just put a piece of braised rib into her mouth and hadn’t started chewing when she heard Rong Huaishen’s question, and the rib fell straight out of her mouth.

Meng Fan froze, as if she couldn’t control her own body.

It wasn’t until she heard the sound of chopsticks being placed on the porcelain rest across from her that she slowly looked up.

Rong Huaishen had put down his chopsticks, he too was looking at her, his jaw tilted slightly with a smile in his eyes that she couldn’t read.

"Test, test what?" She pretended not to understand, looking bewildered.
