A sudden surge of strength entered everyone’s bodies as Jayce refreshed his Executive Chef skill, increasing their stats tremendously. The trio of Colin, Ben and Paul let out a roar, diving into the battles with renewed ferocity.

Amidst the chaotic symphony of clashing blades, snarling beasts, and the adrenaline-soaked shouts of the party, the initial five wolves finally succumbed to the relentless onslaught of steel. As their adversaries lay lifeless on the forest floor, the party continued to be on high alert, waiting for the next wave of bloodthirsty wolves.

As if on cue, another wave of ferocious Bloodfang Wolves charged forth from the shadows, a renewed savagery in their crimson eyes. Their malevolent determination was mirrored by the ominous line of reinforcements gathering behind them, eager to join the fray.

The front line once again clashed with the assaulting wolves, each combatant testing their mettle against the other. Blades met fangs, and Jayce’s team displayed a well-coordinated dance of offense and defense. Yet, the wolves were relentless, and the frontline eventually began to show signs of fatigue. Their once-unyielding formation began to falter as the wolves’ sheer numbers tested their stamina and focus.

Recognizing the need to shift tactics, Jayce gestured for the mages to join the battle. Amber and Jackie unleashed ranged attacks over the frontline’s heads, fiery projectiles and arcane spells arcing through the night sky. These barrages struck true, felling some of the wolves that were unable to reach the front line due to the cramped space.

However, the chaos was unrelenting. Paul, who had been holding his own with remarkable skill, was suddenly caught off guard as a wolf’s maw clamped around his arm, sending him to the ground with the wolf standing over him. The breach in the frontline was almost exploited, a momentary lapse that could have spelled disaster for the party.

"Colin! Shield Bash!" Jayce’s voice cut through the chaos, his gaze locking onto the towering Guardian. Colin understood instantly, a determined nod preceding his powerful charge. With a colossal roar, he brought his platinum kite shield crashing into the heap of wolf corpses.

The impact sent the grisly mound hurtling backward, including the live wolves atop it. The frontline breathed a temporary sigh of relief as the obstacle was removed, allowing them to regroup. Jayce’s eyes now turned to Amber.

"Amber! Torch the bodies!" Jayce’s command was met with unwavering focus. Amber channeled her mana, conjuring a massive fireball that erupted upon impact, engulfing the pile of corpses in searing flames. The scent of roasted wolf meat soon pervaded the forest, an unexpected fragrance born from the heat of battle.
