It was a little after ten o’clock when Ye Ling and Ning Ruoxi arrived on campus.

Ning Ruoxi immediately huffed.

’It wasn’t that she wanted to walk into a losing bet. It was just that with so many girls here and three guys looking, it shouldn’t be that hard for at least one of them to find someone, right?’

Ye Ling smiled, looking completely confident.

Ning Ruoxi huffed.

Ning Ruoxi huffed again, a triumphant look on her face.

Ye Ling glanced at her, a smirk playing on his lips. "It’s no big deal for me. But you, on the other hand... don’t get jealous when all those pretty girls get an eyeful of me!"

At his words,

Ning Ruoxi’s face flushed crimson all the way to her neck.

’This guy is so shameless!’

Ning Ruoxi shot Ye Ling an annoyed glare. Then, a thought seemed to strike her. Her eyes darted about, and with a teasing look, she said, "You think everyone gets jealous like you do? The King of Jealousy in Asia?"

In that moment, Ye Ling’s face turned as black as the bottom of a pot. The corner of his mouth twitched, and he clamped his mouth shut, saying no more.

Seeing Ye Ling so thoroughly defeated and silent, Ning Ruoxi’s mood instantly brightened. She even started humming a little tune, looking for all the world like a little general who had just won a great victory.
